I can mostly agree with this. In general, Biden was capable of doing the day-to-day operations of the job and understood basic sh*t that Trump doesn’t seem to get (like who pays tariffs). I am in agreement with that.

The problem I and others have is the growing revisionist history that is getting a little too romanticized because of how much of a clown show Team Trump is. We get it. Biden in a wheelchair drooling into a bib while endlessly soiling his Depends is a million times preferable to the Marmalade Moron’s best day presidenting. Cool.

Unfortunately, that line of thinking is exactly what paved the way for Trump Part II—which as many feared is proving to be a hell of a lot worse than his first term. There’s a reason Joe Biden’s presidential campaigns dating back to 1988 went nowhere until 2020, when Team Blue decided what America needed was a fishing pole sparring match between Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon.

America has to do better.

Inflation was the #1 issue in the election, and Trump won in a landslide. Every single swing state and “against all odds” the popular vote.
