I cannot understand how ole miss all of a sudden the last two weeks is playing like a top 5 type team, maybe a top 2-3 team.

It never ceases to amaze me at how the opposing teams technology always fails when I watch a game played at Auburn.

For all you “Re-seed-ers, the word’s from a Saturday morning cartoon series, George of the Jungle…”You knew the job was dangerous when you took it.” All college baseball programs knew the rules when it started. Troy had a long road ahead of them when they took the fourth seed. They fought the odds and did the job. Little Rock knocked off those Golden Pretenders at their own park. Now, you want to somehow punish them because they played by the rules. Come On, mannn!! You guys knew that if we won our regional, We had to face Georgia. “You knew the job was dangerous when we took it”

I cannot understand how ole miss all of a sudden the last two weeks is playing like a top 5 type team, maybe a top 2-3 team.

Same way they did it in 2022. Very similar. Got the big HR guys in the middle of the lineup with a team that strikes out at a very high rate. But 3 very solid upper class starters and a big time closer. Then they have guys at the bottom of the order in the 8 and 9 hole driving in 4 of their 6 runs tonight. Utermark with the monster 2 Run Homer but he has also K’d 3 times. Middle of the pack defense that turns 2 and almost 3 Double Plays with runners in scoring position. Just baffling.

I used to say Ole Miss football won more games on emotion than they ever won on talent under guys like Vaught, Brewer and Tuberville. Dang if the squirt former catcher for Big Ben hasn’t dragged the emotions out of this baseball team!

This Ole Miss had a lot better regular season than the 2022 team. This team was only 2-3 spots from hosting & 2022 was the last team in the tournament (Thanks IB)
