Cal Poly looking overmatched so far against WV. Down 8-1 going to B5. Still unreal that Cal Poly won the UCLA regional without ever having to face UCLA. Of course St. Mary's did their dirty work for them.

The clock is striking midnight for most of the Cinderella's this weekend.
West Virginia’s reward for winning their regional is a super against Cal Poly and their opening game in Omaha against Troy or Little Rock.
All I know is I will want to burn my keyboard for typing this, but I want Auburn to win tonight.

This is the stuff that really makes me want to see a reseeding of teams at least in Omaha even if not in the Super Regionals. The weakest teams right now seem to all be bracketed together. Even if we somehow get by Georgia, our first game in Omaha would likely be Texas unless Oregon pulls off a major upset.
Really need to for supers. You've got #7 at #1 (remaining seeds) and not even a CWS game. Then you've got one of Troy & Little Rock guaranteed to make CWS. Ridiculous. And waters down the CWS, which should be college baseball's showcase.
WV had to go the limit to beat the 12th place SEC team in their own Regional and now get lowly Cal Poly in the Supers only to get the Troy-LR winner if they move on to the CWS. Talk about living a charmed life.
I don’t want it reseeded. The tourney is drawn up and the dice are rolled. You play who you play and them’s the breaks.
One thing we saw clearly last weekend is the SEC should have had more higher national seeds, more national seeds / regional hosts, and higher regional seeds. And one more NCAA tournament bid.
This is exactly how I feel. If you wanted it to be “college baseball’s showcase”, then start only with the top 16 teams in the country.
Meh, this is their 3rd super in a row, and they ran up on a stacked Clemson regional and matched with LSU last year. They've earned a little luck.

Troy had a long road ahead of them when they took the fourth seed. They fought the odds and did the job. Little Rock knocked off those Golden Pretenders at their own park. Now, you want to somehow punish them because they played by the rules. Come On, mannn!! Exactly. What's happening for WV is not exactly common. And they're still unlikely to win the Championship without winning multiple games vs really good teams.
Whoever said there is not a ten run rule is and idiot. Game ended when WV went up 12 to 2 after the 3rd out from the top of the 9th. Dummies... get learnt some baseball for once.
As does 95% of the other sixpackers but look at the alternative and then that vomit is a little more palatable!
Not sure how they only had one Quad 1 win this year but this USC team looks legit. Heading to the B9 up 9-5 on UNC.

At least being a 10:00am start we will be able to see the beginning of our game. There will not be any games we have to wait to end to see our game.

Very glad we didn't get them as the 2 seed in our Regional. They would have been a problem.

Elliott got away with a text book balk move but Furniss couldn’t handle it. He is giving AU pitches to hit and they are not doing a good job at all. Now the zone is expanding for him.
Either we're suddenly playing extremely well or we got a very good draw in our regional. Never threatened.
