He did well last weekend. Maybe have Cooper and Macon spend some time in the Trajeckt tonight. That start last weekend might have unlocked Folger

Maybe it is BS, I’m definitely not any kind of baseball expert and I don’t have all the financial information and other factors. I just want us to be elite and I am going to be frustrated beyond belief if that scenario plays out. Something would need to change with the program quickly, whether that be funding, assistants, or something else. You said we should question Forbes I think that’s BS
It’s in the lower half of the zone, not in any world was it a bad pitch. Just because the kid squares it up doesn’t mean anything. It was a great swing in a good pitch. It happens.I’ve watched it back a ton. Maybe not hung. But it was on the catchers glove side. Not the side you want to miss on, however small the miss.
Remind us again how many coaching wins you havre under your belt? And please don’t come back with the lame “anyone knows that” if you haven’t ever been tasked with making those decisions in real time instead of hindsight. Hint: Church league softball doesn’t count. You
You can't forget the formula that got you here, and that is Glauber on relief with the lead. Do you even realize how many inherited runners Walker has allowed to score. They are not charged to his ERA. Again. This is the Super Regionals. You have to go to Glauber in that situation. That's been the winning formula.
29 he’ll be ready to go Sunday if we win tommorwDoes anyone know how many pitches Jackson threw? I know Walker will be available if we need him, but I think we’re going to need Jackson too.
They all need to take Forbes' advice to Colin before he hit his HR last weekend...shorten your swing and make contact. Big swings and misses or warning track outs help no one.He did well last weekend. Maybe have Cooper and Macon spend some time in the Trajeckt tonight.
But your point is wrong, because he didn’t hang it. The kid took the the head of the bat to it and made a great swing. It is what is. It’s baseball.MY BAD!!! Point is it wasnt that bad
For your erudition.Really didn’t expect to see pedantic used today. Or any time in the last 10 years. Congrats.
Forbes is great but his postseason finishes all have a lot in common. You said we should question Forbes I think that’s BS
And he means “never” as in the last two seasons.Must mean it can’t happen
You didn’t respond to my question if your daughter ever suggests you are constantly negative?Hope so, but I doubt they shut them down. The bottom line is we are going to have to score lots of runs. Probably unrealistic but we probably need double digits tomorrow and Sunday. Their(USC) offense was my main concern coming into this weekend.
So did Dean Smith’s - for a long timeForbes is great but his postseason finishes all have a lot in common.
Never coached. Baseball career ended in the minors with shoulder injury. Was a scout for the Yankees for 14 years. I dealt with some of the best managers in baseball all those years. You don't have to manage to know baseball. What's your pedigree mister. How many games you managed since you seem to know it all and like calling people out. I don't call posters out. They are entitled to their opinions, but I will call out coaches considering how much money I've donated to Carolina over the past 50 years. How about you? Huh? Let's hear it.Remind us again how many coaching wins you havre under your belt? Who else are you going to as the PROVEN stopper from innings 5 through 9? No guessing or hoping here. Who can you TRUST to get 4-5 shoutout innings?I think you have to start Glauber tomorrow! You can’t trust Decaro right now!
I just don’t know. I think Forbes made the right call, only because I think Jason won’t be able to go as long as Ryan did, and we will need Caden to go longer. Walker unfortunately just didn’t have it today.Would anyone be upset if Forbes goes to Glauber over McDuffie in that spot? Feels like he almost wanted to give the older McDuffie a chance to redeem himself from last year when the easy choice was your best pitcher (Glauber) to win game 1

NIL. We simply can't spend the kind of money on baseball that SEC teams can, not while trying to build up the football program and rebuild the basketball program. We needed to move to the SEC years ago, but Swofford screwed us.Maybe it is BS, I’m definitely not any kind of baseball expert and I don’t have all the financial information and other factors. That’s a good point on likely needing Glauber to go longer tomorrow. I just can’t help but think you do everything you can to win game 1I just don’t know. I think Forbes made the right call, only because I think Jason won’t be able to go as long as Ryan did, and we will need Caden to go longer. Walker unfortunately just didn’t have it today.
My pedigree doesn’t matter because I’m not questioning the coaching accumen of the guy who has UNC in the super regionals three years straight. So it’s all about you trying to show up Scott Forbes here. Have at it, bubs. Show out and let’s critique your coaching.Never coached. Baseball career ended in the minors with shoulder injury. I can’t find actual NIL numbers but found this total budget (excluding revenue share and most other NIL deals). We are #18. That is not good. We should be spending #10 money at least. I would hope our NIL is at least slightly more competitive than this and we are just efficient with our overhead budgets, but it doesn’t look great.NIL. We're in the ACC, and we're prioritizing football and basketball. Pretty hard to be top ten in funding under those circumstances. We should have left the ACC this summer, but the PTB have refused to jump thus far.I can’t find actual NIL numbers but found this total budget (excluding revenue share and most other NIL deals). Is that you Mrs. Forbes? He blew it. I wasn't trying to show him up but stating a fact. You have to win today not hold back. Go with what got you here. Glauber may have also blown it but now hell have to pitch tomorrow and probably a lot and with this heat if they win Sunday probably not looking good having to go with Boaz and Walker. Sorry, but I'm not from the "everyone deserves a participation ribbon" crowd or a pat on the back with a "good job" added in no matter how bad you sucked. My pedigree doesn’t matter because I’m not questioning the coaching accumen of the guy who has UNC in the super regionals three years straight. Okay, so then McDuffie isn't elite?Breaking: When elite pitchers are pitching they get out of jams
None of that will matter if we are down like today and their bullpen shuts us down.Who else are you going to as the PROVEN stopper from innings 5 through 9? No guessing or hoping here. Who can you TRUST to get 4-5 shoutout innings?
Second guessing in hindsight is so easy.Is that you Mrs. Forbes? He blew it. I wasn't trying to show him up but stating a fact. You have to win today not hold back. Go with what got you here. Glauber may have also blown it but now hell have to pitch tomorrow and probably a lot and with this heat if they win Sunday probably not looking good having to go with Boaz and Walker. UCLA robbed us of one title by being the most egregious cheaters of all time.So did Dean Smith’s - for a long time
I could be dead wrong about this as I was not in attendance, but I did not think McDuffy had enough time to warm up. Control wasn’t there and despite a comment or so above, the home run was hit off a middle/middle pitch. It was replayed multiple times. He just wasn’t ready to pitch today. It happens. Easy to second guess, but I thought Ryan should have pitched to one more batter. One of his last pitches hit 97 so he still had a lot in the tank. Also, MM has not been himself since he was hurt and he came in and screwed the pooch again. Just can’t count on him now. Should have gone to Rose when we were down 6-5. Lastly, with few exceptions, our batters were not competitve after we got the 5-1 lead. Has happened multiple times this year against good pitching.None of that will matter if we are down like today and their bullpen shuts us down.
Yes, it is. But I yelled DON'T BRING IN WALKER, so I said it in foresight. LolSecond guessing in hindsight is so easy.
That’s not the mistake. In my opinion, once you give up the grand slam to go down one, you have to go with Rose for 3+ innings. They’re mistakes when they don’t work. We had one of our best 2 relievers who eats up righties against their worst right handed hitter. He threw a hanger.
Hey, next time quote me when you want to respond to me. Also, Forbes can say what he wants to take up for his guy, the pitch was at the bottom of the zone and he took the bat head to it and hit it out. He didn’t hang that pitch. It was a solid pitch ha dj and the dude had a great swing on it.Forbes said verbatim “he hung a slider.”
