That kid is a baller for sure. I think offensively we will be a load to contend with.I'm telling you man, I REALLY like my team....

"UConn adjusted" by making Wilkins the primary focus of their defense, doubling up on him and denying him the ball. I hope teams "adjust" that way against Kentucky with Momcilovic and McBride and, or Kam Williams lurking on the wings -- all guys who can shoot 40-percent plus from 3. I haven't watched the Furman-UConn game since it was played live, but if I am remembering correctly, even Furman had some tall, skinny white kid on the wing who got wide open shot after wide open shot because UConn started trying to smother Wilkins. And that kid was no Momcilovic.Well, to be fair, he scored 14 or 15 of the 21 in the first 10 minutes. UConn adjusted and he scored six the rest of the way.

They had two skinny bigs. From what I remember, Furman had one of the tallest rosters in basketball last year."UConn adjusted" by making Wilkins the primary focus of their defense, doubling up on him and denying him the ball. Remember Tyus Edney?Wasn't this the game where Tarris Reed had like 30 and 25? Crazy to think if not for a superhuman performance from their big man the runner-ups might've been upset by Furman in the first round.
Hard to see where he won't translate - he's got great positional size, he plays smart. He's only going to get stronger. If his game translates don’t be surprised.
When his game translates he could be a Mark Sears-like surprise to the national scene.
If that’s the case…

McBride did it in a conference with far inferior defensive players. He's going to have to figure out how to do it in the SEC when it matters.McBride shot 40% from three past year with high usage
Milan we know shot 48%
Those 2 alone should really space the floor for the guards
This performance w the comments from his coach during first week of seeing him at Furman be like "oh shish- this guy shouldnt be here" has me gassed - up.Hard to see where he won't translate - he's got great positional size, he plays smart. He's only going to get stronger.
He reminds me a ton of Tristan Newton from UConn.
Quite the analogy, and visual. This performance w the comments from his coach during first week of seeing him at Furman be like "oh shish- this guy shouldnt be here" has me gassed - up.
My performance earlier at the Chinese buffet has me gass-y.
These things are NOT the same.
