I seriously doubt he has a pitch count.I may have missed it, but did they say how long he is expected to try to go (pitch wise) today?
Coop either needs to sit or use the French approach and bunt every time. He’s not even close to making contact
The guy who leads our teams in HR and one of our top OPS guys? That Coop?Coop either needs to sit or use the French approach and bunt every time. He’s not even close to making contact
Yep, that is my worry. Bad mistake on the hr. Just need to forget about it and move on.The issues for Folger have often started the 2nd time around. Not a great start there. Hanging breaking ball 0-2.
Does ECU coach care about the health of his players...or is he like the Oregon State coach who would pitch guys until their arms fell off?It will be interesting to see how many pitches Norby gets.
I don’t mind the ones with nobody on base lolYep, that is my worry. Bad mistake on the hr. Just need to forget about it and move on.
Can’t stand this guy.Godwin with more words of wisdom for Ryan Clark as he walks off the field following the top of the third.
from keith law's Norby blurb: "ECU badly overworked him last May, having him throw 68 pitches in a start on May 20, then throw in relief on the 24th and the 25th, and then rolling him out for 116 pitches on May 30... I’m concerned about that workload, especially as he’s on the smaller side."Does ECU coach care about the health of his players...or is he like the Oregon State coach who would pitch guys until their arms fell off?
It's getting dicey down here on the first base line in numerous sections. Was there a fan ejection? Saw some happenings
2 years in a row they’ve taxed him.. it’s showing in the spin on his breaking ball from all the work the last two weeks.from keith law's Norby blurb: "ECU badly overworked him last May, having him throw 68 pitches in a start on May 20, then throw in relief on the 24th and the 25th, and then rolling him out for 116 pitches on May 30... That’s the definition of over working, it’s about a lot more than the just PC. What they’ve done with him the last two weeks is showing right now. That doesn’t seem like “badly overworked” to me, depending on how much he threw in those relief outings. Of course pro guys think you’re supposed to throw 75 pitches every 5 days until you’re in the majors.
also from that blurb: "He’s hit 12 right-handed batters this year, eight of those on sliders he tried to throw at their back feet."from keith law's Norby blurb: "ECU badly overworked him last May, having him throw 68 pitches in a start on May 20, then throw in relief on the 24th and the 25th, and then rolling him out for 116 pitches on May 30...
