Sorry you have to deal with this crazed liberal clique.

It's very easy for them to stick together and gang up on disagreeing people, because there's no diversity of thought among them.
I love nothing more than to stir up the libs. One of my favorite pastimes. These guise just make it too easy though. Like I said, Iowa isn’t sending their best.

This thread is indicative of why the South lost the Civil War. Too worried about etiquette and manners. Too busy perfuming their kerchiefs. Iowans just go to work and put the hammer and tongs to the place.
Didn’t know y’all were a state then.

Iowa is like a slightly less shittier Ohio.

The state has no redeeming qualities. I had to deal with f*rs from Cedar Rapids for work for years. Based on those interactions I’m convinced that all Iowans are retarded.

As I said in another thread, my trips to Cedar Rapids were some of the worst experiences of my life. Screw that place

Oh yeah, well I travelled to Greenville on vacation, and it was fun... so I'm not sure what my point is.

I have to say, before we ventured to the Iowa board, I had driven the length of I-80 about 6-7 times. Didn’t know anything about Iowa except where to stop for gas, food and lodging.

Now, I feel like I know all sorts of things about the state and actually have an affinity for you guys. Most of you, that is.

Not really challenging the contention that the schooling in SC is inferior with this response.
Uh, maybe. You’re making the assumption I went to school here so we can dissect the assumptive intellect there if you’d like.

Folks may not like me or my responses, and I can certainly live with that.

I would just tell you I have "Ignored" more people in the last month than I have combined over roughly 25 years. I haven't even put 73 dic pics on ignore.

Most of these folks did not come here to blend in or assimilate. Like typical Socialist/Communist, they came here to take over (they are like rats). They're just like today's version of illegal immigrants. They don't have to pay for anything, they just consume.

To me, it's really simple. Enough people complained about them to the Iowa site, so they made theirs's a pay site. They came here because this board is free. There's nothing these folks like better than a free lunch.

People like this are the entire reason, NETFLIX wants me to pay for two subscriptions when I work out of town. ******* dead beat people who share their account with all their friends.

Been on here like 25 years too.

This invasion of the deadbeats from the Iowa board is making the folks I disagree with that were regulars on here. I want to apologize to all of you folks as there are worse things in life other than your ideologies.

I have not used the ignore as much as I need to

My answer is just avoid this overrun site

The berserkers have made it a waste of money

Iowa provided 76,534 men to the Union Army - the highest percentage of eligible male population of any state in the North or South.

While primarily operating in the western theater, thousands of Iowans entered South Carolina during General William T. Sherman's "March to the Sea" in early 1865.

Iowa infantry regiments—notably the 2nd, 15th, 22nd, 24th, 28th, and 31st Iowa Volunteer Infantry—actively campaigned and fought across South Carolina, participating in the capture of Columbia and other engagements.
Iowa Casualties and Service in the South
  • Total Iowa enlistments: 76,534 men, which represented a higher percentage of its eligible military population than any other state in the Union.
  • Total casualties: Roughly 13,000 Iowans died during the war (about 17%), with two-thirds perishing from disease.
  • South Carolina specific losses: Several Iowa regiments sustained casualties within South Carolina. For instance, the 28th Iowa Infantry recorded over 200 casualties during its deployment in South Carolina and North Carolina.
The South Carolina Flag
Perhaps the most notable "statistic" or artifact linking Iowa to South Carolina is the capture of a massive, pre-Confederate Palmetto flag.
  • Soldiers from the 31st Iowa Infantry famously seized the 10- by 14-foot blue and white Palmetto flag from the South Carolina State Capitol in Columbia on February 17, 1865.
  • The flag—originally used during South Carolina's secession convention—is currently housed in the collection of the
    State Historical Society of Iowa
    in Des Moines.
Thanks for the flag.

I never thought I’d say this, but almost miss the all asterisks posts from you … I could play mad libs, filling in the blanks.

However, I may have to start using “theirs’s” … I don’t know how or why … but I may try.

I love that this how arguments with old guys go. Civil war stats for internet clout 160 years later.

South Carolina has a higher percentage of LGBTQ+ adults than Iowa.
  • South Carolina: 4.9% of the adult population identifies as LGBTQ+.
  • Iowa: 4.7% of the adult population identifies as LGBTQ+.
Would not be surprised if the true Iowa number is higher.
