If we get MM, we can play with anyone. If Louisville gets him, they are going to be one of the top 2 or 3 favorites to win it all.
I just don’t believe Momcilovic makes that great of a difference. We definitely have a better rotation with him, but I can’t see any team elevated to a contender that wasn’t before adding him.
Next season rests squarely on Diallo and Wilkins. If they can play together the way I hope they can, Milan will be one of the biggest benefactors.

If we get MM, I think we are still missing a piece to be an EE type team. Hope I'm wrong and we get MM and he elevates us to FF contention.

I agree, still need a backup SG. I say that because if Zoom gets hurt and Wilkins has to play point, I don’t think Morton can fill that void. I’m just gun shy about PG injuries after the last couple years.

Yeah adding the best 3 point shooter in the nation last year won’t make much of a difference. 🙄

If he says something like "I respect their tradition, I'm going to Louisville", I will have gone from strongly dislike, to hate, to strongly hate Louisville.

This is the correct answer. He will not only make the shots we need him to make and give us the outside presence but the space it opens up for everyone else cannot be underestimated.
Correct. If they put him at the 3, at 6'8", he will shoot over most SF's so many teams will be forced to bring 4 out to him. Spacing and matchups

Alex and Zoom will be two of the biggest benefactors of Milan, He creates space for both to penetrate this would be huge for both.

Predictions don't mean crap. Mom would have already committed like the guy did to St. Johns if it was a done deal. He's still shopping IMO. Everything has to be drawn out for us. It's infuriating.
Completely agree. These predictions are complete garbage. I don't care if they are for or against Kentucky. If he is delaying the decision until this weekend, then he is hoping for a better offer from Kentucky or another school. No one knows right now, and we won't know until he decides.

LOL - no they won't. Kelsey is still coaching them. It's impossible to predict how one of these frankenstein teams gels. It's why, sans last years UM team, retention is always key.

I’ve wondered about this, can Cam play shooting guard or is he just a wing

Unlikely. He'd be a tall, slow footed, and below average SG on the defensive end. He's 6'8" 205, and though we could probably get away with it on Offense (still be rough as he isn't a huge slasher or ball screen guy), we'd get abused by small and quick guard lineups getting into the paint. Unless Moreno made huge steps defensively to punish guards going to the rack, it'd be a liability. I will never say never though, they might be forced to try it out of necessity at some point.

Can you imagine if one of those two get injured? We’d be dead in the water. Our guard depth is alarming.

You are correct. Momo won’t lift us that high but he may well make us look more attractive to some guard who really can be that final piece.

Our guard depth is significantly better than the last two years. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad lol.

I disagree.

24/25:
Butler - Kriisa - Perry
Robinson - Brea - Chandler - Oweh (2/3)

25/26:
Lowe - Johnson
Aberdeen - Chandler - Oweh (2/3)

This year:
Diallo - M. Williams - Z. Hawthorne
Wilkins - Morton

That's nowhere near what we thought we had in 24/25 & 25/26 depth-wise going into the season.

But I like Diallo better than either Butler or Lowe. Also, Wilkins is a really good option to shift to the 1 when Diallo is out. Either way, both will be getting 30+ minutes a game imo.

I think many see it this way:

This year:
Diallo - M. Williams - Z. Hawthorne
Wilkins - Morton - Kam (2-3)

Additional depth over last year comes with having Diallo, Wilkins, Mason W., and Morton who can all play some PG. last year our PG depth was Lowe and then combo Aberdeen. MAYBE you could list Jasper has PG depth BEFORE the season but then we saw it was not so.
