At the top of the conferences? Sure. Dont know that it has trickled down to the Rutgers and Purdues of the world just yet.At best SEC is now co-top league with the Big 10. In many ways it really looks like Big 10 has passed SEC.

ESPN owns the championship and the playoffs, right? Shouldn't be hard to figure it out.We can't get out of the SEC 'ship contract until 2033 or 2034.
Just dont see it happening. Or why it should. Do you really think that would be a better site? Much Longer trip for most of the big baseball schools (MSU, UM, LSU, Bama, Auburn, Vsndy, Tennessee, South Carolina). SEC has gotten burned bad when they tried moving if from Hoover before. I don’t think there’s any appetite for trying it again for a site that at best would likely be slightly worse overall, and at worst much worse.Hoover has always been a great venue, but I wouldn't mind seeing take a western spur every once in a while. Globe Life is an incredible venue and easy to get to. Plus, would be a destination point for vacationing families with 6-Flags and Hurricane Harbor on the premises.
Maybe a good thing for us we didn’t find out the last couple of years. The results on the field for the games that were played the last couple of years don’t look good for the sec.At the top of the conferences? Sure. It’s not like it’s been a huge amount of time. Plus the SEC has made some terrible coaching hires, so they aren’t maximizing.Maybe a good thing for us we didn’t find out the last couple of years. But all were conference games. Indiana last year played 10 total B1G games and won all of them. Michigan 3 years ago did the same. Last year, Ohio State played 11 P4 games (including one against an SEC team) before the playoff. The last three national champions (from the Big 10, of course) played only 9 regular season P4 games.
Interesting pick to represent one of our top teams...The SEC’s bottom is better than the Big 10’s bottom, but that’s about it. Arkansas, us are probably better than Purdue Maryland etc. Minnesota, Washington etc their middle is every bit as good as Tennessee, Missouri. And their top is better than our top—Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama are not as good as Indiana and Ohio State, Oregon.
They made the final 4 last year. Beating UGA along the way. Who else would you pick?Interesting pick to represent one of our top teams...
Not going to happen. Dumb business decision to eliminate half your fans & create an immediate direct competitor. Would also cause blue bloods to lose way more games, which they don't want.Eventually it will be a 32-40 Team league. Everyone not included in that league will be Southern Mississippi.
I'm for killing it altogether. There should never be a situation where it moves from Hoover, I don't care how much Texas and Oklahoma ***** about it being too far. Its about as dead center as the conference gets geographically.
Single elimination format isn't too bad. Most teams only play a couple of games ( I think this year 1 team played 4 games in 5 days and 1 played 3 in 3 days). If we could get more games in the regular season by cancelling it, I'd be all for it.I'm for killing it altogether.
Disagree, its a fun tournament that has its place. Easy for most of the fanbases to get tooI'm for killing it altogether.
One year or even two, does not make them the top of our conference...They made the final 4 last year. Beating UGA along the way. Who else would you pick?
