Wish him the best but it’s 7+ wins or next man up.
I have a feeling it will be next man up.Wish him the best but it’s 7+ wins or next man up.

Right lol. More media attention on his love life than the football team itself. We could match the TarHoles and make it a Carolinas Coaching Circus

I think the administration could keep him with 6 wins too. It would be "improvement", etc. And would allow us to spread out buyouts for the three main sports.
If Ray was still AD, I bet Mack Brown would be on the list if he showed any interest. And I know in all seriousness that Brown is retired and would never want to coach in the SEC anyway but I bet would Ray would give him an interview. Anyway-all hypothetical.
Paul Dietzel. Jim Carlen. Joe Morrison. Brad Scott (don’t laugh, he was THE hot commodity at the time). Lou Holtz. Steve Spurrier (if you’re not at least 60 years old you don’t fully appreciate the significance of that one). These are the coaches since I was in high school. And here we are. Six wins and Beamer’s not going anywhere. Some of us are fans of gamecock football; others are fans of results that make them feel good or better than they ordinarily would. There’s enough of the former that will keep this going; those in the latter group seek or expect that which they will not find. Clemson has shown over the years that ‘coaching’ itself is not what pads the W column. We have shown that ‘coaching’ itself doesn’t limit access to the L column.
And we love the girls that post on here. Welcome aboard.I see the hurt feelings crowd got upset over the thread's topic.
It is i teresting to me that wanting our team to win means we supposedly arent fans of gamecock football. I just love self righteous litmus tests for fanhood.

Petrino is battle tested alright. Motorcycle, legal, marital, administrative, etc.Or we could just steal their OC. Battle tested!

We've tried old retreads and young comers to no avail. It's time to nuke the college football world and hire the first woman head coach.
Sad but true6 wins and he is safe, 7 wins, especially with a win over Clemson, and he gets an extension.
It's small and crazy world. My first house, a small wood frame cottage, was just north of I-40 from Chapel Hill. Now Coach BillnChick's house is on the same road. Needless to say BillnChick's house cost 50x what mine did.We could match the TarHoles and make it a Carolinas Coaching Circus

Sparky Woods is on line two.Richard Bell is on the house phone. He'd like a word with you.
I referred to major coaches. You know, the ones expected to be no-brainers. Of course you do. And yet, again, here we are. Lol at you guys. And the lady.Sparky Woods is on line two.
Anyone higher up than a position coach. And who would that next man be?
He must have been the inspiration for SEC Shorts!Or we could just steal their OC. Battle tested!

How many of you would be okay with a female head coach who led the football team to a 10-2 record? Other than the obvious improvement to 11-1 or 12-0?We've tried old retreads and young comers to no avail. It's time to nuke the college football world and hire the first woman head coach.

I hope you're right.I dont think anyone would really care as long as the coach won 10 games. And I mean really. Message board banter aside.
I know man. I just thought these comments were hilarious and I got on the train.I referred to major coaches. You know, the ones expected to be no-brainers. Of course you do. And yet, again, here we are. Lol at you guys. And the lady.
How hard can it possibly be to make it as successful football coach? Recruit talent, instill discipline and let them play the game. All he has to do is not have the worst season in history and he already looks better than the other mens sports programs.

If ot was that easy, more people would be doing it. And we wouldnt be facing another overinflated buyout.
