Illinois plays football in Memorial Stadium, yet they can't take 2 minutes to acknowledge fallen service members.
As my retired friend from the Air Force and later Space Forced posted, never wish a “Happy” Memorial Day as it is a solemn day to remember those who gave all in defense of our country or later lost their struggles with PTSD, etc. Today is a day of extreme gratitude for me.
He’s only 41. I think the GOP would be wise to run Rubio in 2028, but it’s early.

Btw, I voted for Paxton. If Cornyn wins, I will vote for him against the Dem. I am not a fake Republican that throws a temper-tantrum when my specific candidate loses. I am smart enough to know even Rinos are better than handing power to any dem loon. I learned early on to leave emotions out of what I consider to be business decisions.

A Gold Star Wife posted on X on Sunday from her home in Arkansas that she would be unable to visit her USMC Husband's Grave in Arlington National Cemetery this year.
She asked that if anyone would be able to visit his Grave at his specific site !
By Memorial Day, she had OVER 2,000,000 clicks and hundred's of photo's of people visiting Alan Shaw and their own loved ones at Arlington !
