Only complaint I have had with Forbes is letting Boaz pitch at all. Should have been kicked to the curb a long time ago. I get Glauber has been lights out in the bullpen but he should have taken the 3rd starter role. Really he should be our 2 starter.

Then who would you have backing up Jason? McDuffie? Then who would back up Ryan? Maybe Rose? Winning game 1 in a Regional and a Super is vital, so we need Caden where he is now. It stinks, because I would love him to be a Sunday starter, but Jason just hasn’t gone long enough for us to not have to use Caden.

I’m referring to the regular season body of work. Obviously in the playoffs you ride your guys. It’s just astonishing how all year nobody else has been given a shot at the Sunday role. If we are relying on 4 guys to throw every inning to win then we are in trouble in the regionals

It’s not the end of the world. But everybody here being skeptical that we can make the CWS and/or win the thing with 4 pitchers that we trust is more than fair. We’ve all watched plenty of postseasons before. It’s fairly disappointing that we’ve gotten to this point and essentially feel like we have a 4-man staff.

If you can’t buy any innings from guys other than McDuffie and Glauber out of the pen then you can hang up the regionals. In the regionals you ride your guys but there just hasn’t been anyone else that has been given a chance to prove they can do anything.
