Going into the season, I thought for sure we’d lose Decaro and Lynch to the draft, I don’t think either of them should go pro yet. Run it back with Globe being one of the starters next year
Do you think Coach Forbes did that intentionally just to tick you off?
He’s ERA is 7, this is not an isolated incident. I don’t think anyone showing concern over his performances this year is unreasonable
No one is saying he should be a golden spike. Your hyperbolic response does not mean that’s what we are saying. This is what Boaz has been all season. They rocked him like this on Sunday in chapel hill. We are saying it was predictableHe’s flashed. Every player can’t win the golden spikes.
Every game isn’t played in a vacuum: GT is allowed to hit, too.
It’s T4.
should I continue?
Agreed that you have no idea why Coach Forbes does what he does. No, I have no idea why he sent him back out there up 12-4.
No run rule in ACC tourney? If not, I didn’t know. Good infoThat’s not true
Cool. But why is it the end of the world? Who else should’ve pitched? Does the UNC offense not get to hit because Boaz isn’t the second coming of Daniel Bard?No one is saying he should be a golden spike. Your hyperbolic response does not mean that’s what we are saying. Then who would you have backing up Jason? McDuffie? Then who would back up Ryan? Maybe Rose? Winning game 1 in a Regional and a Super is vital, so we need Caden where he is now. It stinks, because I would love him to be a Sunday starter, but Jason just hasn’t gone long enough for us to not have to use Caden.Only complaint I have had with Forbes is letting Boaz pitch at all. Should have been kicked to the curb a long time ago. I get Glauber has been lights out in the bullpen but he should have taken the 3rd starter role. Really he should be our 2 starter.
I’m referring to the regular season body of work. Obviously in the playoffs you ride your guys. It’s just astonishing how all year nobody else has been given a shot at the Sunday role. If we are relying on 4 guys to throw every inning to win then we are in trouble in the regionalsImagine losing a winners bracket game in the regional because we’re saving Glauber to start game 3. That would be silly.

Let the game play out.
If you can’t buy any innings from guys other than McDuffie and Glauber out of the pen then you can hang up the regionals. In the regionals you ride your guys but there just hasn’t been anyone else that has been given a chance to prove they can do anything. Then who would you have backing up Jason? McDuffie? I truly trust Coach Forbes over your opinion in who he trust in starting. Been said recently that in practice that Boaz has had the best stuff, striking out more of our hitters in game simulation. The issue was starting him
I think he was scared of attacking the zone…to Lackey. And I don’t blame him.McDuffie seems scared to attack the zone after watching them tee off on Boaz. At some point you gotta give them a reason to swing. And as I’m typing this he gets a huge backwards K!
Yes….what he did today plays against most other lineups especially at the Bosh. And we could still win this game…but there are some positives coming out of the weekend regardless…one being Kelli’s. And I actually think the way Boaz threw today was another one.
