Glad the massive CA fraud schemes and fire management incompetence are not distracting Kneepads from trying to draw national attention to himself.

But is he wrong here? How would you characterize doling out $1.8B taxpayer dollars to your family, cronies, and supporters? Can you answer that question?
He's not wrong. That said...

In this case, "kneepads" is correct. No elected officials should be able to trade while in office. And I'll go one step further. People in the government contacting world - those in the know about the award of government contracts - should also be banned.

“California Gov. Gavin Newsom is facing accusations of corruption for paying $20 million in taxpayer money to a nonprofit led by an executive who also sits on the board of his wife’s organization that promotes gender equity.

“Only $20million.” How many BILLION has the Trump family bilked? Have you ever posted anything negative about them?

So, is that twice removed?
Pretty flimsy.

Yes I have.

My post was in reply to a question about Newsom's corruption, of which there is much to choose from.

Not closely, but he is very entertaining in all his foolishness to get attention, pretending California is not a failing state.
Maybe because California is not a failing state. You should train your discerning eye on, say, West Virginia. Or Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, or Alabama.
