Who would you have hired? Besides King_Kong and some of the other experts that post on this board, who was more qualified to be Nebraska's next head coach? No, the maybe the best resume. Certainly no where near the best coach.

Re-read it again you pedo dipshitDave said nothing about Rhule underperforming.
If Rhule was honest about his love for Nebraska and wanting to get us competitive-
His problem at NU was a crushing domestic situation. Most of us would have had a difficult time controlling our emotions and behavior in that situation. Crime of passion defenses in some instances can be used to downgrade criminal charges. I don’t know Mickey. I don’t know the personal details of their relationship. It’s pretty clear that he crossed the line but I’m not sure what I might have done in the heat of the moment if I discovered my wife was cheating on me.And he is now coaching at Grambling .he has literally coached at 2 major universities as an assistant and got in trouble at both places. Mickey is a POS women beater .
I guess his wife was not one of those "super happy married people" that we keep hearing about. His problem at NU was a crushing domestic situation. Are you 12?I guess his wife was not one of those "super happy married people" that we keep hearing about.
Maybe!Are you 12?
Some people flail around their whole life seeking to be more happy. Turns out the problem is usually their own. Thats the explanation for why so many miserable fxxks are divorced multiple times or struggle to maintain long term unmarried relationships. Not surprisingly their issues often involve alcohol or other chemical use.Maybe!
But again, we have another example of the "most happy people" in the world cheating and beating each other.
Agreed. Happiness is not usually found in the arms of another person. You have to be happy on your own first. Some people flail around their whole life seeking to be more happy. AMEN!!!That's like money can't buy happiness. True. BUT, if you're already happy, a really hot girl or a boatload of money can make you REALLY happy!!!
FIFYWait, aren't you another iowafannutjob that lives on this site?
You severely lack the ability to read the entire paragraph & to comprehend. Most pedos do, so it makes sense why your pedo brain continues to double down on this.Re-read it again you pedo dipshit

That's why child pornography is getting brought up.
a photo of kids just playing in the underwear being silly
I'm not saying he should be labeled a sex offender either and probably not kicked off the team either or even suspended
You cannot hold video or photos of someone who is a minor or a minor at the time of the video.
He's not in trouble for receiving it. He's in trouble for keeping it as an adult.
So you moved the goal posts, That is not what I said, and it is not even close.Who would you have hired? Besides King_Kong and some of the other experts that post on this board, who was more qualified to be Nebraska's next head coach?
Not at the time. One thing is clear to me-- the guys that make the hiring decisions care more about credentials and public perception than how good of a coach a guy is and how good of a fit he would be. In fact, I'm not sure any of past ADs even know what constitutes a great coach from an average coach with recent success.I mean...it sort of looks like he was qualified.
Even when you bring up old quotes of mine, you purposely leave out other important words and/or context. You're trying to manipulate the situation. Just like what a pedo does to kids you sick POS f*ck.Doesn't work on me
Of course you know that, and it's why you're shaking
Hilarious that it backfired into outing yourself as obsessed with child porn:

Was he qualified? He was 58-70 as a coach at the time, with a good season at temple and 1 good record at Baylor but with zero big wins.Who would you have hired? Besides King_Kong and some of the other experts that post on this board, who was more qualified to be Nebraska's next head coach?
You guys might want to consider a ceasefire.Even when you bring up old quotes of mine, you purposely leave out other important words and/or context. You're trying to manipulate the situation. Just like what a pedo does to kids you sick POS f*ck.
He got conned by Rhule’s agent and PSU’s AD. Imagine IF Rhule had been offered and took the PSU job. Dannen all of the sudden would have had to go through a coaching search. With the extension, he kicked the can down the road to where he’s set for life even if we have to fire Rhule. I have an idea where Dannen’s next AD job will be.Nebraska harmed itself by offering extensions to unproven football coaches
Riley was a victim of Eichorst’s making. We would have won 8 his last year if Eichorst didn’t force a DC change. Frost had plenty of time. What Dannen might be referencing was Bo’s dismissal.Ok.. So, wait... We didn't give Mike Riley or Scott Frost enough time? GTFOH.
This is a ridiculous statement. I will question everything Troy says from here on out.
Frank should have had another year but there were staff issues that he wouldn’t address. Frank’s DUI arrest in Ohio wasn’t a one off deal either. Alcohol, drugs, underage girls, players wives, prostitutes, etc. Frank is a good dude but man there was a mess in the football offices. Carl got most of the credit for the vices but he was hardly the only offender.Bo, Riley and Frost weren’t going to make it here- good decisions to move on from them when they did.
Coach Solich should have been given a longer leash to see what he could do with a turned over staff. He would have been good but not great.
Coach Callahan probably should have gotten another couple of years with a stipulation that he must change defensive coordinators. BC kind of had a bit of an ego issue. Good on offense. Excellent recruiting . Smart guy. Not a fan of BC- but maybe he could have worked out better. Terrible hiring process- he was our 5th choice?
What Dannen might be referencing was Bo’s dismissal.![]()
Please identify the four additional wins Nebraska gets that year with Banker as DC. Here is the schedule:Riley was a victim of Eichorst’s making. I mean, the last comment made to each other was 8 days ago.You guys might want to consider a ceasefire.
Please identify the four additional wins Nebraska gets that year with Banker as DC. Here is the schedule:
2017 Nebraska football
And no, it wasn't the defense that lost the Northern Illinois game. That was the game where future NFL Hall of Famer Tanner Lee threw two pick-sixes, accounting for 2/3 of NIU's point.

Northern Illinois scored one offensive touchdown the entire day. Tanner the Turnover Machine Lee was going to piss that game away regardless of who the DC was.Oregon, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Minnesota.
Eichorst was heavily responsible for the failure, to quote Sipple at the time.Northern Illinois scored one offensive touchdown the entire day. Tanner the Turnover Machine Lee was going to piss that game away regardless of who the DC was.
I couldn’t stand Bob Diaco or Shawn Eichorst, and I wish neither had ever set foot in Lincoln. But they aren't responsible for Mike Riley for being a miserable failure.
Yeah, I get it, Eichorst was a horrible AD. No argument there.Eichorst was heavily responsible for the failure, to quote Sipple at the time.
"It was a curious hire by Nebraska. It eventually became clear that former NU athletic director Shawn Eichorst exhorted Riley to hire Diaco and fire Mark Banker. It was all sort of pathetic — Riley firing Banker by phone while Banker was on the road recruiting. A proud program with weak leadership was careening toward depths many Husker fans never imagined.
Nebraska's switch to Diaco's 3-4 system never found much footing in 2017 and some defenders essentially quit on him late in the season. It became painful to watch."
Not to mention Shawn Eichorst dictating what tackling was allowed at Nebraska and other meddling. It was Eichorst who created the Executive Director position that became Billy Devaney, there's other random **** that I can't remember the details at the moment but Eichorst was a pedo raising pile of ****.
Edit: I remembered another example, Eichorst meddled in the strength and conditioning department also, he banned certain lifts that he deemed unsafe like back squats.
Better defense with Banker, it's possible their offense scores 0 TDs. We win the game.Northern Illinois scored one offensive touchdown the entire day.
Probably wouldn't have done any good. Mike Riley was likely a lame duck coach after Eichorst was fired.Yeah, I get it, Eichorst was a horrible AD. No argument there.
So horrible, in fact, that he hired a tampon for a football coach who allowed the AD to walk all over him.
Not to mention that Eichorst was fired on Sept. 21 that year. So with Diaco running a 3-4 scheme that was so obviously wrong, Riley was still powerless to change it? Even with the guy who made him hire Diaco now completely gone, and 2/3 of a season remaining to be played? That seems odd.
