Does he want to play for Phil or Jay?I would say based on the fact he is from Michigan and that two Michigan schools AND Penn State are after him, that it is a longshot. but we have pulled a few rabbits out of the hat before. Just don't getyour hopes up, is what I am saying.
Let Phil and Jay argue about that. Just get him on board.Does he want to play for Phil or Jay?
Doug Burrell rings a bell. Was he a reserve defensive end in Bill Brashier's old 5-2?Too bad the Hawks couldn't get in on Quentin Burrell. WR committed to Michigan.
Played with his dad, Aaron, in CR. A Rolls-Royce of an athlete, with great intelligence and instincts. Played on the '95 Norhtwestern rose bowl team. Class man.
Athletic family. Uncle, Geoff played for the Hawks in the early '90's. And Doug Burrell, who is also an uncle, iirc, played on the '86 Hawkeye rose bowl team.
Too good of a family for Quentin to want to spend much time at a place like Michigan. So maybe we'll see him in IC, down the road
Yes, I believe soDoug Burrell rings a bell. Was he a reserve defensive end in Bill Brashier's old 5-2?
No reason to share this story, other than it's a pretty cool story, and the Burrell's were some large men.Doug Burrell rings a bell. Was he a reserve defensive end in Bill Brashier's old 5-2?
