Do you like seeing golfers struggle a bit?

I find it much more enjoyable than the easy courses where they finish -18.

I would love to see a tournament held on an average municipal course with no spotters.

Depends. I like to see good and great shots be rewarded. The set up for the U.S. Open had a nearly 20 year run of questionable locations and terrible course management. Having to water the greens in between groups is irresponsible decision making by the course superintendent.

last night i watched a youtube short called "top 10 golf farts" and it was just a bunch of people ripping cheeks right before people hit and then they shank into the trees.

Much better than pro golf.

I have played golf in 11 different states and on 45 different golf courses.
Golf is a game in which you adjust to each course you play. The best
advice is still to keep your head down and hit the ball down the middle
of the fairway. It is still true: You drive for show and putt for dough.

I like to see the pros play hard courses, where there are truly risk-reward holes, and bad shots being penalized.

Courses don't have to be super long if there are enough challenges, like small, fast, undulating greens with a little rough, sand, or water around them. Trees and narrow fairways can be a challenge too.

I like that as well. Also, I'd like to see these pros playing with equipment from the 50's and 60's and balata balls. Let's see if they can hit their 7 iron 210 yds, or their driver 400 yds. And straight as a string.

Today, the golf pro's on the PGA circuit can make some big bucks.
The four Major Tournaments are worth several million dollars to
the winner. It is a much bigger business than it was in the 50's and 60's.

I'd love to see one tournament a year where they play with equipment from even the late 70s/early 80s. Persimmon head woods, balata Titleist, plain old steel shafts without advanced flex-point technology. Technology has drastically changed the game.

I like to see risk/reward setups. I thought it was very well done this week. Hopefully the US Open doesn't go full potato setting up Shinnecock like they've been known to do.
