I do like to see other golfers in my foursome struggle...I find it much more enjoyable than the easy courses where they finish -18.
I would love to see a tournament held on an average municipal course with no spotters.

And straight as a string.I like to see the pros play hard courses, where there are truly risk-reward holes, and bad shots being penalized.
Courses don't have to be super long if there are enough challenges, like small, fast, undulating greens with a little rough, sand, or water around them. Trees and narrow fairways can be a challenge too.

Today, the golf pro's on the PGA circuit can make some big bucks.
The four Major Tournaments are worth several million dollars to
the winner. It is a much bigger business than it was in the 50's and 60's.
