I'm sure the French will be thrilled to have American Football played in their capital. They just love adopting American culture.

The game will be a sellout. Supposedly people in Paris don't follow sports but the Stade de France is full for rugby games there even though rugby is not popular in Paris.I'm sure the French will be thrilled to have American Football played in their capital. Been to Paris a number of times and never had any problems. As for the game, who really cares. The NFL would play a game in North Korea if they thought it would make them more money.Oh they love taking your money and then insulting you in French.

I despise them. I always forget they're on. I do farm chores early Sunday because in my mind I have till 1 pm to complete the tasks. Come in and boom on the bottom ticker the score of the game. I think I've only caught the tail end of maybe two of them when I got done early.Been to Paris a number of times and never had any problems. As for the game, who really cares. Same. Been to Paris 5 times now and never had a single issue. Now…go to Madrid, and if they sense you’re an American, they’ll laugh in your face while they take your money.Been to Paris a number of times and never had any problems. The teams pick a foreign country(s) to be their international marketing outreach base.Pittsburgh area was a French colonial settlement for a little while around Fort Duquesne - a military outpost established by the French in 1754 at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers (modern-day Downtown Pittsburgh).
Of course New Orleans had and still has French culture. I would guess NFL knows about these things (at least in Saints case)

Very interesting, I hadn't thought of all that. All that had occurred to me was that the French would like the New Orleans helmets...Pittsburgh area was a French colonial settlement for a little while around Fort Duquesne - a military outpost established by the French in 1754 at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers (modern-day Downtown Pittsburgh).
