Berge was terrible last year, Conway graduated. Soldano graduated. Ludington is at 197. Stewart is no where near ready. he finished like #12 in hs this year. he wont even start.
The distinction is important because they weren’t going to kick out one senior and bring in another one to potentially wrestle that weight
I think AJ would have won heavyweight this year, if he was staying there. Is he actually going to wrestle actually?

Why wouldn't Facundo compete against Norman at 174? Norman is good, but doesn't seem like a foregone conclusion that he would beat out Facundo at 174. Plus, Facundo appears best suited at 174, where he wrestled in 2025-26.

If he had any team leadership skills they would have kept him. It is his "ME ME ME" routine that put Manning off, put Snyder off, put his teammates off. There is an appreciation of McDaniel and Ziola, there isn't any for him.

- R16 Mirasola -- Ferrari won 2-1
He has never faced Carroll or Amos, but both are inconsistent. Also returning at HWT but he has never faced: Endene, Voelker, Taylor.
Maybe somebody turns around one of those close results. OTOH with his style, he doesn't make mistakes, you have to break through his defense and beat him ... and there's no offensive machine in that group.
Feldman would be the most likely to break thru that group, and has the best record vs Ferrari, but then there's his injury history.
As of right now I think my pick to win HWT is Coby
Folk is a totally different beast that freestyle.
Merrill looks really good.
He's also significantly less credentialed at freestyle than Kueter, and has yet to compete in college folk.
You'd think if they are pushing this 5 for 5 through that they'd open the portal up again.

Ziola will be right there he beat Coby at a college open this year. Coby will be problems no doubt
He wrestled in college opens he beat Stoner Mizzu 20-4 tech and Herrera Iowa St 10-1 and lost to Carroll 2-1 OT and to Ziola 4-2 . He also teched Crew Howard D2 who was 2nd in D2 he was 2nd 3rd 4th in D2 in his career
He was worth something to Bakersfield and he basically told them to pound sand after attempting to help rehab his image.
No one should take him. No one. What school could possibly benefit in any meaningful way?
