Bunting was fine, Paulsen was fine.. you have to execute the bunt better than that.
When I have a 2 run lead, I’m playing defense personally. I have been happy with our sacrifices… but I like that matchup with Howe swinging.
I’m not making my defense worse with a lead in the 8th inning just so I can bunt.
You've definitely covered all possibilities and been adverse to the actual decision made....but that's what we are here for....
This is all good-natured. Everyone knows we have a great coaching staff. To have 41 wins already is amazing. It's just fun to debate baseball strategy.

His AB’s when he’s not getting hits have looked pretty bad as of late. I will take it upon myself to call him out tomorrow. We need his bat going forward.He did hit his first home run in like 75 days last game...
Problem is the longer wait between innings, but if it went quicker, I'd definitely send Duff out to try and close it out within 10-15 pitches. No difference again between 15 pitches and 30. But now I bet we try someone else... especially if we tack on a couple more.
