I am still rocking the Blackstone Griddle but I do want to check out that Weber Slate, I heard it is amazing.

Anyway...what are your go to favorites?

I love these

Never owned either one but have friends with both and have been around for several cooks on both. They look identical to me. And The food results have been negligible from everything I've seen.

probably doesn't hold a flame to oklahoma onion smash burgers, but taco smash burgers.

Taco smash burgers

With toppings i say whatever you like. I did pickles + burger sauce. again with the burger sauce make what you like.

Taco shells fried in burger grease i think make it.

Got a new Weber Genesis last year and put one of their steel griddle plates on it that used up about 75% of the grille, and leaves me with grilling grates as normal on the other side. Game changer. Love the Blackstone(esque) flat surface i and love the standard grille, both in the same unit is so awesome I frequently use it twice a day.. breakfast sausage, then whatever for dinner. Got me the rotisserie for cornish game hens and have used the crap outta that too... so i got like a 3 in 1 setup. Works so awesome i'm ripping out a sweet, and what was probably a very exoensive, built in grille unit out back to use that space for sometbing else. Between the new Weber and my smoker, just don't need a 3rd, and I agree with ya... you probably aren't gonna be real happy with just the Blackstone. Gawd I love grillin.

And burgers and vegetables. And that's about it. (probably forgetting a couple things)

Still maintain you have to have both. Everything you can do on a grill cannot be done on a griddle...and vice versa.

Exactly what I did. It really is the ultimate setup. I'm currently doing a full remodel and have the space to do whatever I want for the outdoor kitchen part and that's what I'm doing again.

I bought a 4 burner from Wal Mart like 4-6 weeks ago for $297. I can't rember if the hood came with it. I bought a cover too. I'm seasoning it right now, while staining my raised garden. My old lady isnt impressed. I bought an Uncle Arnie Soda Pop and it sucks. Delta 9 is garbage, while drinking Busch. I bought an Amazon kit for around $50 for all the utensils and cleaning.

I'm kind of enjoying cooking on it. I never worked at a fast food restaurant. But their is a little bit of skill required in using the oil, water and the lids for steaming.
