Call me F'n nuts but I think UK getting him would be the nail in the coffin for Pope. Why? I don't think he can handle that type of energy from a player like Stokes. Also don't think he will utilize him properly which is why he's going to Kansas. I'm more than happy to eat any crow that comes my way... I feel like Stokes isn't the savior of this season and could just add more pressure.

Pretty much my thoughts. I don’t think stokes does us any good for the reasons you mentioned and seems to be a very selfish self absorbed individual who rarely make great teammates. Next season will be a disaster with or without stokes IMO.

I don't want our team to fail. I am in literally every game thread cheering to win. I want Stokes, I want Pope to be successful with Stokes or top talent in general.

Pope coaching top talent would remove doubt substantially in either direction.
