What do people honestly think will happen?

I’m not sure how I really feel about it, but I believe he will commit here.

I almost think we would be in better shape if Pope had a good contingency plan in place and Stokes goes elsewhere.

No Oregon mentioned in Norlander's tweet, that seems like a good sign for UK. If Nike is the deciding factor, it can only be UK...
Don't do it man. If UK was the driver, we would have had him. This has played out because he has had Adidas as a roadblock to hurdle.

Call me F'n nuts but I think UK getting him would be the nail in the coffin for Pope. Why? I don't think he can handle that type of energy from a player like Stokes. Also don't think he will utilize him properly which is why he's going to Kansas. I'm more than happy to eat any crow that comes my way... I feel like Stokes isn't the savior of this season and could just add more pressure.

I'm telling myself he's going to Kansas. But I'll still watch. I have a tiny bit of hope.

We have to get Stokes. Can't trust this staff to have a contingency plan in place

If he picks UK, then let’s roll.
If he doesn’t, please have a contingency plan ready immediately and then let’s roll.
Fine either way

Only way it’s not ok is to not have contingency plan
Haha, you really think Pope has a plan? What could it possibly be? There is nobody left that is even remotely considering UK that can be an impact maker.

The thing is, it would be beneficial to see if Pope can be successful with this type of player. If he were to fail badly with Stokes, all Pumpers would have to concede immediately or be outed as clear trolls.

I agree but could be wrong. Was thinking maybe he was waiting on Kansas and adidas to come up with a solution for him to wear Nike shoes while playing in adidas gear.

Like the above poster said, it seems like Oregon has been pushed to the side. Now you’re left with Nike and Adidas. Being the number one recruit, I do think this carries some weight.
