I can’t begin to imagine what O’Connor and the other assistants think about a day and specifically that moment from yesterday. It’s hard to explain that type of environment.
FactNeal and Jay are the best!
I like Jay a lot. But I will never be a fan of a good hitter taking a strike in any situation. That 2-0 or 3-0 pitch is likely to be the best pitch to hit you’ll see all week. If it’s not, then don’t swing. Be selective. But don’t take a strike.Pretty awesome contrast,
“Parker doesn’t need to swing on 2-0, make the pitcher throw a strike….glad he didn’t listen to me!”

I hope to goodness we had some recruits there last nightI can’t begin to imagine what O’Connor and the other assistants think about a day and specifically that moment from yesterday. It’s hard to explain that type of environment.
Got chills listening to Bart and Jay on the call and I was there for the real thing.
That is probably the single most memorable moment for me in State sports. Right up there with when we went up 21-0 on Auburn. Sobbing tears of joy in the rain at the Junction.
Feel very fortunate me and my family got to witness that. The unload of energy in that stadium when the ball came off the bat was something to behold.
Now let’s sweep these MFers! GEAUX HOME TIGERS!
If there was any doubt about leaving a good situation to be the coach in Starkville, it cannot still be present after that moment.I can’t begin to imagine what O’Connor and the other assistants think about a day and specifically that moment from yesterday. Don’t understand why the athletic dept doesn’t do that as quick as possible. I usually give them until the next morning - partly because it takes a bit for the audio to be available. But I would think the university could get it quickly.Good work. Thanks for posting this. It’s what the people crave and you made it accessible with ease.
Bases loaded, just walked one in, right? I can see the argument either way.I like Jay a lot. But I will never be a fan of a good hitter taking a strike in any situation. Or at a minimum, a few recruits conceivedI hope to goodness we had some recruits there last night
