I can’t begin to imagine what O’Connor and the other assistants think about a day and specifically that moment from yesterday. It’s hard to explain that type of environment.

That crowd absolutely rattled the **** out of LSU down the stretch.

And I love that Ben M (who I like) spent the whole game talking about us being a fastball hunting team and Parker deposited a hung curve ball into the RF lounge for 4 quick runs.

I think Stallman's double was a breaking ball as well.

I’m not a born and raised bulldog fan but Jay Powell being in awe of the crowd’s participation made me say Huh?

Pretty awesome contrast,
“Parker doesn’t need to swing on 2-0, make the pitcher throw a strike….glad he didn’t listen to me!”
I like Jay a lot. But I will never be a fan of a good hitter taking a strike in any situation. That 2-0 or 3-0 pitch is likely to be the best pitch to hit you’ll see all week. If it’s not, then don’t swing. Be selective. But don’t take a strike.

Yeah, and Parker seems to really have a knack for pulling line drives down the RF line and out.

Got chills listening to Bart and Jay on the call and I was there for the real thing.

That is probably the single most memorable moment for me in State sports. Right up there with when we went up 21-0 on Auburn. Sobbing tears of joy in the rain at the Junction.

Feel very fortunate me and my family got to witness that. The unload of energy in that stadium when the ball came off the bat was something to behold.

Now let’s sweep these MFers! GEAUX HOME TIGERS!

I'm thinking Jacob and family are very happy he chose the college experience and Mississippi State this morning.

If there was any doubt about leaving a good situation to be the coach in Starkville, it cannot still be present after that moment.

It’s interesting too that we get that moment in the middle of all this discussion about funding sports programs, the economics of such, return on investment of the new Dude, etc.

Last night is why you do it. It’s not economics. You spend and invest in baseball so that your players, coaches, administrators, and ESPECIALLY your fans get to experience moments like that.

Don’t understand why the athletic dept doesn’t do that as quick as possible. I usually give them until the next morning - partly because it takes a bit for the audio to be available. But I would think the university could get it quickly.

Bases loaded, just walked one in, right? I can see the argument either way.
