Better that than Pope's weird cultish snake-handling and magical thinking. At least Cal knows how to coach future NBA talent. Pope's had like two 2nd round picks in his entire 11 year career.
As a sophomore, Bryce Hopkins was First-team All-Big East the season after he left UK though. Bradshaw is far from that as a junior.
Who knows at this point, but I will say this, feel free to disagree, and I will free to tell you, you know nothing about men’s college basketball…
Pope only has two starter level players on the roster at the moment, and I wouldn’t comfortably say UK level starters, but I’m going to throw Moreno a bone, because he appears to be a high level developmental piece, and Alex Wilkins would be the other.
Diallo is a backup at UK under any coach not named Mark Pope, Kam Williams, who has potential, is mostly a low usage single dimensional player, and the rest I don’t even need to make a case for.
Simply put, I understand the roster is a work in progress, but last season’s UK team beats this current one 10/10 times, with maybe a game or two under 15 point losses.
Let that sink in.

Nobody can argue that Cal wasn't great at getting guys to the NBA. He just stopped getting anything for Kentucky while doing it.
thinking positive I see a way that we can compete for the SEC crown. and not only is it realistic in my opinion but I think it will happen. Just ask. Hint, Oweh is in the equation
So, lemme guess. Oweh gets a 5th year, and UK adds Stoke and the dude from Finland. That would be a damn fine roster.
