I've been reading about water in the American Southwest, mainly LA and Colorado River.
It's probably good to remember "Chinatown" was a movie NOT a documentary, so forget the film and it's characters.
LA receives about 40 % of it's water from the Colo and the reservoir above Parker Dam.
The Imperial Valley agriculture farms utilize about 50 % + of their water needs.
There are well over 1,000 + dams and a separate 1,000 + reservoirs in Callie alone.
The Commissioners of the Electric & Water boards are generally politicians, since the Chairman's yearly salary is $ 750,000 a year ! That tells you all you need to know !
They are operating power plants for electricity built 100 years ago !
To the best of my research they lose 100's of millions of gallons daily into the Pacific. I am unsure if this is treated water or not. For example, Manhattan loses 100-300,000,000 millions of untreated "water" into the Hudson River as their waste treatment plants are over loaded beyond capacity, if it rains.
I was unable to find any large scale desalination water plants working or planned in LA.

Construction of desalinization plants in Southern Callie would ELIMINATE any future need of water of about 1 BILLION gallons daily.
Enough to grow green grass on over 1,000 NEW Golf courses in Zona and the adjacent SF Homes.
All the available data documents violent crime rates are lower for illegal immigrants than US citizens. Showing pictures of murder victims killed by illegal immigrants doesn't make any point other than people will use any excuse to hate marginalized groups.
All of those stats are flawed, and outdated. It’s well known that non citizens are also less likely to report crime, which makes the statistics inaccurate.
We used to heavily vet non citizens. Biden/Harris stopped that. And not surprisingly, we brought in some really terrible people.
Marginalized groups = illegal immigrants = murder victims that were unnecessary !
ALL illegal immigrants are criminals, murder is just another charge.

76% are “concerned about calling the police”, but they also say non-citizens are more likely to report crime.
C’mon man. Non-citizens are not the victims of that much less crime. They just don’t report it. This was well known during the Venezuelan crime wave here. Non-citizens were more vulnerable, and less likely to report.
The stats likely looked different pre CHNV and post CHNV. Biden/Harris decided to import people from some of the most violent countries in the world.
