It Is the state of the nation. I feel like I’m a neutral observer in this and digging for truth. I see both sides. That does not mean I approve of certain reactions comments from both sides… But I understand the anger. People don’t want to live in fear, the violence is out of control and it’s easier for both sides to just throw arrows at each other and to have a rational discussion.
I don’t live under any kind of dream scenario of you and I resolving this. But I do enjoy digging deeper. One poster who is not on this thread has stated this is a message board and nobody changes their minds. I might be the exception. I am educating myself on the Berlin conference and that certain civilizations and social constructs may be healthier for different races.
Personally, I think it would be healthy for you to acknowledge blacks are not fitting into western civilization as well as some races. I think it’s OK and safe to acknowledge that. Rather than blaming western civilization 100%, there should be some accountability from blacks on their behavior. Fair?
Except that studies have shown this isnt the case in humans. Removing environmental factors there is no discernible difference between one ethnicity to another on either of those things.
Do you base any of your racism observable data?
My counter point would be black Americans arent fitting in as well because we enslaved them, then created generational hurdles for them to overcome (such as share cropping and other disparities I referenced earlier). They are a product of the environment we created for them. There is no data that suggests any ethnicity is radically different from the others on our most basic attributes. We're all human.

Why are whites generally better swimmers? A lower center of gravity, longer torsos, and higher body fat percentage are advantageous for floating and endurance in swimming, which are more common in white and Asian demographics.
We must acknowledge there are differences beyond color of skin IMO. And that's okay! Equal but different is okay.

Except I haven't made that argument. I have at numerous points ITT acknowledged an issue with the behavior of a subset of black Americans, and the need to fix that behavior.

They either won't or can't fix their behavior. By looking at their countries, I'm guessing they can't, which is fine for them over there
They did quite fine running respectable countries before we started stripping their continent of natural resources.
Now again, their leadership isnt without blame. They voluntarily participated in the slave trade, which also steered them in their current direction. But these are all man made issues. Humans are humans.
You can point to black individuals being better at certain sports as being "evidence" of genetic variations. If that were the case, why are white Europeans so much better at soccer than their American counterparts? We are the exact same ethnicity. Have you even allowed yourself for a moment to consider that circumstances have an impact on humans?
No they didn't.
Europeans are traditionally better at soccer because that is where their best athletes are allocated to. Our best athletes go to different, more popular sports.
