Had no choice but vote “no” but dear God I hope I’m wrong. No inside information from me. We don’t have recruiting connections here in my parent’s basement but it doesn’t look good according to MJ.

Both sides are pretty far down their path to finishing this commitment. Restarting negotiations, more visits, etc probably isn’t in either party’s best interests.
I’d make one more concession or bump in pay for negotiations and be done.
Probably start getting in line for Milan/Graves while going through the Euro options over the coming weeks while focusing on the other holes in the meantime if he goes elsewhere.

If Donnie falls through, staff should pivot as fast as humanly possible to reconnect with Paulius. Throw him whatever Donnie was going to get and then some and call it a day.

Nope he’s just a RS freshman that’s going through the draft process. The initial linked teams were LSU and Duke. I think we could throw ourselves in there if Donnie falls through

Portal season has been quite a letdown. After 1.5 kinda blah seasons.
I had high hopes, but they are fading.
Yeah I was hoping Pope would feel the urgency of how hot his seat is and really step it up in the portal. At this point I think he’s fine with getting overpaid for 1 more underwhelming season and heading back into Utah Valley level coaching.
Wilkins is the only guy who is coming from a winning team. That gives me some concern.
