Just.fkn.brilliant. lmao

You don't say. There's got to be some suckers out there paying for that horsesht insight. Absolutely hilarious
Yeah I used to have a subscription and it’s pointless. You get the same info as everyone else but you just find out like 30 minutes earlier. If it’s something major , it quickly gets posted here by somebody anyway

Freeman has Pope by the balls now. Obviously all recruits and agents are leveraging the amount they can get, the market is shrinking with starting level players. Goode being off the market really hurts now. If they could have gotten Rancik to commit I would have called Freeman and said you have until the end of the day to accept or we will continue to recruit you after this commitment at a far less amount.
This is why I don't really think a game will help a ton
All they're gonna do is tell you market price. Well if that price isn't what the player wants you probably won't get him

The thing is they have to have another school offering that money. They can say any number they want but if another school won’t pay more than we will they will have to take that.

I’m pretty sure that Steve guy whose Twitter is all over this thread is fake, so I don’t put any stock into what he’s saying.

With that out of the way, this recruitment is starting to make me nervous. We’ve reportedly been front runners for him the entire time, but every time the supposed competition backs off, he allegedly starts talking to a different set of teams. It kind of feels like he would already be here if he really wanted to be and would probably go somewhere else if they match our price. I really hope I’m wrong about that because getting strung along then losing out on him will be a major miss if it happens that way. There’s not a whole lot of talent left at the 4 spot with guys like Rancik and Goode committing elsewhere today.

What's to be nervous about? He's either coming or not.

It screams "get paid and then shut it down halfway through the season."

Yeah. I guess it does to some, but I've been around long enough to remember Jacob Tamme begging for a UK offer, then using it to schedule visits before they threatened to pull the offer.

I might me a minority but I put a lot of stock in conference regular season and tournaments. It shows you can scout and game plan and survive tough road games. The NCAA is sucks a crapshot, it would be nice to have those wins but I want to get back to dominating our own conference. When that happens we go into the big dance as a 1 or 2 seed and give us a better chance.

Don't see UK ever dominating the sec again. Everyone else cares now.

But seriously, that St Johns (Which we knew) and Tennessee are heating up for ole Donnie.
I've never seen a coach be in the "final 2" more than Pope and then allow teams that weren't even in the mix to join the recruitment.
Did you see where even Derek Anderson was questioning his communication skills when he was interviewed by KSR recently?

Yep, UK should do the same thing, tell Freeman he has until midnight tonight to take their final offer, or they retract it. I am not hating the player, I am hating the game here.

History tends to repeat itself. If Florida can, we definitely can. ESPECIALLY now, because we have a lot of money. We were supposed have been like OSU (football) last year. I get what you're saying, though. It'll never be an easy mode cakewalk again.

I truly don’t understand the level of upset from fans about what a kid decides for his future. These are big decisions and I don’t blame them for trying to get it right. The amount of money on the line is life changing. Ask yourself if it was your kid and you weren’t raised a Kentucky fan, what would you do?

If I were Pope I would call Muurinen right now and offer him the Freeman deal and tell Freeman to kick rocks if he took it

The problem isn’t other schools. Our NIL deal for Freeman has a minimum games played clause to collect the total contract. Freeman’s agent didn’t like that and that’s what has caused the delay. It’s not competition from another school, just his agent not wanting that clause in the contract and our staff not budging. From my understanding it’s been taken care of now, so as far as I’m concerned pencil Freeman in as our starting 4.

I’d choose the school I liked best and commit. Or I’d expect the school to find someone else if I took too long. Honestly.

Didn’t he commit about 5 hours ago according to you? Hilarious a **** like you questioning sources. Dipshit.
Point is...he throws **** at the wall just like the rest of us. He just claims that he's an insider....which he isn't. And many of you gullible numbnuts hinge on each word.

Can't blame him.
Thought you could not have those kind of stipulations?
