To be honest, I know this is reaching, I would like to have either Williams or K. Johnson.

With what we have right now, what is our projected depth chart along with heights? I feel like we have gained length?

Zubich is listed as 6 feet. The only player under 5'10" will be Reniya Kelly.

PG: Kate 5’10, Kelly 5’7
SG: Brooks 6’1, Transfer, Zubich 5’11
SF: Burrows 6’2, Hull 6’1
PF: Akot 6’1, TQ 6’1, Astakhova 6’2
C: Toomey 6’4, Thomas 6’5, Bonfia 6’4

For sure have gained length. Elina, Laine and Henderson where all on the smaller side.

I could not blame Jordan Z for wanting to be part of the team. She already knows that she will be a blue team player by now and that CB and staff are going to continue to bring top elite talent and that is going to impact of getting little or very little playing time. Gabby White is much better than Jordan, Liz, Sidney, and Blanca right now. There is a reason why she was playing a lot as the only freshman on this year's VA team. If and when you watch the film that was put out by RL you can see it.

If we could get her that would be great. She could play both the 4 and 5. She could possibly start at the 5.

Stanford transfer Chloe Clardy to Carolina. Think similar to Nivar. Not as talented, but she can steal. Her shooting is bad, though.

PF Akot, SG Burrows, and SF Clardy. That fills a lot of holes temporarily. Don't have much PG depth, which can be a real issue.

Aarnisalo and UCLA used us to give her more PT and develop. Look at her freshman stats. Her PT fell off a cliff as the season progressed. She was 3rd in minutes for Carolina. From mid-February till the end of the year, she almost never sat on the bench. She and Grant were overused and we did not develop behind them. Too few minutes for Henderson.

This year, where would she have been in PT on UCLA? 7th? Definitely behind Jaquez, Rice, Kneepkens, Leger, Dugalic, and the person who ended up being the best player in the country, Lauren Betts. They won the national title and now, she can go back to UCLA and be one of their best players and get all the minutes she can handle.

Hopeful for next year (Harpring), but a lot of holes to fill and I don't trust Kelly's health at all.

How about Me’Arah O’Neal? Love to see another post.
Her head coach at Florida was just hired as an assistant at UVA; they may have an "in" there and UVA certainly has money to spend.

Also, she entered with a do not contact tag, so might be a quick move to her destination.

Old East, You are probably correct about Elina planning to be here for one year as a plan but UCLA can use us anytime they like if we get a great player like Elina for a season. With Kate arriving on campus for next season it worked out great for Tar Heel WBB. Elina was a great player for us. I am going to miss seeing her
somehow dribble thru all those defenders and make those guarded layups.

I think so. Astakhova was on the list until yesterday; now she's been removed as well.
well in that case, maybe it is more of a "this is where we stand right now", at least until the portal closes. (minus the players who have publicly stated they are returning.)

Disagree with Clardy listed as a bad shooter. She was the only shooter at the G position they had and often drew the toughest defenders on her. She struggled to end the year…. Finishing 10-49 from deep. But was 35% from deep up to that point (40-115). Shot 38% from deep last year an 31% this year. I’d expect her in that 35-38%+ range when you surround her with actual proven shooters- Brooks, Hull, Burrows, etc.

is the general thinking that we will absolutely add another player now? If yes, then do you go best available or look for a specific position like 5. i wish we knew more about how Bofia was performing in practice and pickup games. That could be a big factor. Another is RK’s recovery.

I don't think so. CB tends to like having one open so they can attack transfers if something comes up or can allow someone to enroll early (like Bofia and TQ). This is purely my speculation, but I don't think they are going to bring in anyone else unless someone like Sarah Strong comes calling or TH says she wants to come back. CB has said in several pressers that they "chose to believe in their recruiting and development," so I feel like they are going to run with CT, BT, TQ, and NB, and then they brought in A2 to shore up the bigs.

CT make a big jump last year. If she is disciplined this offseason like last, I'd expect her to make a big jump again. The post positions are the hardest in college and she barely had any post experience until this past year. BT is well documented question mark... but I think she was injured for a lot of offseason and early season, so it's hard to tell what kind of jump she can make. She is strong in the legs, but she has to learn how to use her upper body in the post. She stays too compact (even when running). She has to post up wider in the shoulders and go to work.
