I'm almost certain recruits can smell the whiff of desperation 1000 feet away at this point. UK is the kind of job where when the wind is at your back it creates a tsunami of momentum. But if things start moving in the opposite direction you end up like the picture of the "frozen man" in the tsunami in Thailand, unable to move and overwhelmed by what he is facing.
At this point it may benefit us to go belly up and start new. New AD, new coach, and hopefully new university president.
