At some point the players have to meet the coach and feel comfortable with him.. I'm tired of all the excuses personally

I keep seeing people say fire Pope today, but Mitch is still the acting AD and he should not be in charge of another coaching hire. Save the NIL money from this year, give it to the new coach next offseason. Mitch and Capiluto need be run out of KY.

Odd all the way around. I don’t think he ever had any intention to go to UK. These agents aren’t dumb. He wants to transfer out of BYU and only looks at one school. One with a desperate coach and with a great need to make a splash. Yeah, they’re not dumb.

Mitch is out as AD in June, so it's just a few weeks. This coming season looks over already. Fire Pope and just let Fox fill in for the year.

Why doesn't he fit our system? His 3pt% nearly doubled yr 1 to yr 2 despite increasing shot volume. Still at 31.5% or whatever it is, but that'll improve next year. He should be good enough to keep defenses honest on the perimeter and he's got excellent court vision, not to mention some wiggle to drive.
I don't know man. . . Wright led them to a 6 seed and first round loss to 11 seeded Texas on a team that had the best Fr. in the country. He's Isaiah Thomas, Jon Stockton all rolled into one.

Probably just explaining his offense and their roles in it. That’s a major turn off. These top end talent guys don’t want to come in and just run a system offense that will never showcase or utilize their talents. They are auditioning for a pro career - can’t get noticed if your constantly running Popes junk, mid major, gimmicky offense.
