I can see where that would be life changing for anyone who trusted humanity. It's still difficult to believe that human beings would treat others that way...

And it seems as if antisemitism didn't end after WWII
Which is absolutely astonishing. And we get called Nazis. Smdh.

what policy are you referring to that caused millions to lose healthcare...not saying you're wrong, just wondering what you're referencing.

I think this is the most insane thing the CIA has ever made public. 😨

They have a secret AI tool called Ghost Murmur.

It detects your heartbeat from 40 miles away using AI.

Not your phone. Not a tracker. Not a radio signal.

Your heartbeat.

It uses sensors built from synthetic diamonds to lock onto the electromagnetic fingerprint your heart produces every single beat, then pairs it with AI to filter that one signal from 1,000 square miles of noise.

Last week, a wounded American pilot was hiding in a mountain crevice in Iran.

No phone. No tracker. No way to call for help.

America found him anyway. From the sky. By listening to his chest.

But nobody mentioned the most important detail.

This was Ghost Murmur's first operational use. It's been sitting classified for years. Tested. Ready. Waiting.

They didn't reveal it to impress you. They revealed it because the rescue was already public.

Every technology a government admits to is the one they've already moved past.

Your heart has been broadcasting your location your entire life.

Someone just built the receiver.

I'm not saying that I don't believe this, but I find it hard to credit that ANY sensors are sensitive to pick up something as faint as a heartbeat from 40 frickin' miles away, particularly with all the other competing noises that would have to be filtered out. I would want to see more evidence that this Ghost Murmur technology exists before I would accept that it is the real deal. But if it is legit, I have to say that I am very impressed.

LOL.

Ok, here's a semi-serious topic for discussion. Seeing ambiguous rumblings about the deal (unsurprisingly) may include terms relating to the "administration" of Hormuz, which may or may involve something akin to "tolls". Last I checked, Hormuz is considered international waters, the concept of freedom of navigation applies in international waters, and "tolls" (under threat of, say, arrest or, say, being hit by a missile) sound vaguely like piracy. Do we care whether this may potentially violate the international law of the seas? Will we care if China decides to impose "tolls" in the waterway separating it from Taiwan? (FTR, the answer to the latter question is no.)
Well, having international law on our side would be a plus, but there is simply NO WAY that the U.S. can allow Iran to commence charging and collecting tolls for ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Trump can always reject any peace proposal that countenances such tolls, and simply recommence bombing. Frankly, I would support that, so long as he doesn't bomb civilian targets, dual use or no. There are plenty of additional targets the U.S. could bomb in order to make life miserable for the Iranian regime. We just need to be a bit more selective in where we send our bombs.

Supposedly we offered at one point to supply them low level enriched uranium for their peaceful use for free but with the stipulation that they couldn’t enrich it themselves.

Makes sense.
I agree. It sounds workable on the face of it. We just have to be able to get inspectors in there (preferably, professionals from the IAEA) who know what they are doing. I understand from prior reading on this subject that hiding enrichment activities is not the easiest thing to do.

Thank you for proving my point. There is no draft, we're not having a draft, and nothing has changed except automation of Selective Service. You have absolutely no clue of anything you speak of. You are a low IQ beta who only posts based on emotion. You were wrong. Own it. Ffs, grow up.

Believe me when I say this, no one, absolutely no one wants your sorry pathetic a$$ in the military.
Tell us some more about your cousin the 3 star general.

My family was at Bastogne, 10th Artillery, N Africa, and a POW in Japan. All, somehow made it home. My father cleaned out Dachau, Landsburg, and it affected him for the rest of his life. I have photos of the ovens in which he buried victims. He was never the same according to my mother. He also wouldn't speak of it to anyone but me, because he knew I wanted to be a historian and I wanted to know.

(No)Private(s) Hotturd at it once again ... arguing against something he wishes someone said, but didn't, and declaring victory. When he does this, it's part of his secret mission ... Operation Stolen Valor.

You give animals a mani/pedi for a living (after washing out of many failed careers), and you're trying to talk down to anyone else?

Sounds plausible.

An urgent phone call from Saudi Crown Prince MBS changed Trump’s decision at the last minute:

President Trump had intended to declare a complete ceasefire and end the fighting against Iran in exchange for the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

However, a tense phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman dramatically changed the plan.

According to White House sources, bin Salman begged Trump not to stop the war:
“This is a historic opportunity – we must finish the job and weaken the Iranian regime once and for all.”

In exchange for continuing the fighting, Saudi Arabia offered an unprecedented package of economic and strategic incentives.

Key points in the offer:
• $100 billion transferred directly to finance American war costs
• Full and immediate normalization with Israel after the fall of the regime
• Direct oil pipeline from Saudi Arabia to the port of Ashdod, turning Israel into a major energy hub
• Investment of approximately $1 trillion in the U.S. economy + purchase of $500 billion in American weapons
• Establishment of a new regional defense alliance, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other moderate countries under an American umbrella
• Joint naval force to control the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb
• Funding of strategic U.S. bases in Israel
• Joint reconstruction fund for a post-regime “secular and moderate” Iran

In the end, Trump announced a temporary ceasefire, not an end to the war as was expected.

Senior diplomatic sources describe the move as “a historic turning point” marking the beginning of a new regional order.

Breaking the logjam of the status quo in the ME has the real chance to be a huge positive coming out of all this. I'd like to see Saudi and the others join in on the offensive strikes if we have to start up again...not because we need their help, but just to get more skin in the game.

"If accurate" ... yeah, that's a HUGE qualifier there.

And, "if accurate," it means we were bribed by a foreign nation into continuing a war. The once-great United States of America, reduced to being a puppet of Saudi Arabia. We're essentially a hired thug. Given that the Second Reich is already known to be on the take from the Saudis, this tracks.

That would be you pushing your propaganda. You believe everything the Mullahs tell you.

You're a good lil fascist.

In Iran, if our women don't cover their hair, we execute them. If our wrestlers protest, we beat them into submission and hang them. Keep pushing your Iranian propaganda. Some of you are absolutely pathetic doing this.

I'd say it's possible ... nay, preferable ... to NOT have a rapist sexual predator as your elected President-turned-3rd-world-dictator and to not execute women for showing their hair. We should try it some time.

Oh, and wrestlers being beaten and hanged for protesting?! How barbaric! Why, we just shoot our protesters dead in the street like civilized people!

What are you crying about now, rag head?

@Hotshoe aka (No)Private(s) Hotturd found himself outwitted and outargued once again ... so he had to lash out and attack his superior, as he's wont to do.

Hell, the guy messed up in one of his many stolen valor posts, which doubled as a "I'm smarter than you, you don't know anything about the military" post, and claimed his cousin was a rank that doesn't exist where he said the cousin worked ... and when the people who supposedly didn't know anything about the military rightfully corrected him, rather than take his medicine, he lashed out and called the people who were correct "idiots."

I think Hotturd is trying his best to mimic his Fuhrer's mental collapse.

Within 10 to 14 days, Iran won’t be able to store oil and will have permanent long term damage to oil wells for extracting oil. Oil wells perform poorly after you stop the flowing process.

Iran exports oil, but it also imports gasoline and diesel. Iran lacks the ability to refine enough of their own oil into gasoline and diesel. So very soon Iran will be running out of fuel everywhere.
