You still haven't figured out trump. he says a lot of things, some bombastic and some not, that really are hyperbole and meaningless. I still don't understand how, after 4 years in first term and 1 1'/2 this term, anybody gets truly excited about this. I guess it's just perspective.
I know you know this, but you have your perspective based on your internal filters...education, upbringing family, friends, job, beliefs...others have opinions based on their internal filters based on the same things. Those opinions and perspectives are not by either belief or general definition, intended to be counter than anyone's else's...they just belong to them. You seem to believe that anybody who sees things differently than you is wrong... I personally don't think that's healthy. The only way people live together peacefully is working out those differences...This board is not the only place in the world where two people can see the same thing and walk away with a different perspective.

dpic you might be a little removed from this, the draft is not new...I have a grandson, just turn 23..at 18 he had to register in person I believe (might be wrong about that) for the draft. They're just changing how the registration happens. So far we have a voluntary force and no need for the draft

Well, apparently that the Selective Service registration is being made an automatic occurrence ... you know, just like the tweet you posted conveyed. Then, an irrelevant factoid about Carter. Then another insult. And another. And another. And another.
So, to this point, you posted something, he agreed with that something ... so you conveyed the same information. Then he insulted you 5 times for being ignorant about the thing ... without ever explaining what the supposed ignorance was regarding ... but there was that random historical factoid thrown in.

You make a post, first with a mocking insult chart highlighting the typical MAGAt responses ... but then just posting the White House spokesperson's commentary regarding the draft ... that there are no plans for one now, but Trump won't rule it out. That's it. You gave no personal commentary. Simply posted a pro-Trump person's official comment.
4. Hotturd reiterates his point ... which, again, agrees with your original tweet ... then insults you at least twice more ... before he tells you that you were wrong, despite you only posting information that agrees with him, and demands for you to grow up and own it. Then he insults you again, as he speaks on behalf of other people, even though he has no information to support his accusation (you know, like he's actually being ignorant).

I wasn't, but my older brother was. He ended up as 100% disabled, had a VA file about 3-4 inches thick, all kinds of problems from brain lesions, to abnormal growths ....he was 11B, told me about hiking for days through jungles and all of a sudden coming to wide clear area, He joked that when they'd stop for the night, they'd dig their defensive positions just throwing the dirt in the air..at the time nobody knew about agent orange. He died from non related injuries at 77. Silver star...was a great guy.
