Your positive attitude is overwhelmingI think he’s genuinely awful and unathletic, but we have so many empty spots on the roster that… yolo. One less spot to fill cheaply, whatever. Can always run him off next year.
I call it like I see it. Everybody said I was too positive about Clayton.Your positive attitude is overwhelming
More athletic than the board gives him credit for. He could carve a role with some development.I’m one who sees potential in Green.
His release is as slow as the day is long. Needs to improve that in order to be a factor.I don't have a problem with Green. He wasn't ready for the B1G last year, but he was a Sophomore so he has time to learn and grow. If he stays, he'll get more opportunities if he works at it. 6'6" and reasonably athletic will go pretty far in this program.
Who?You know who else had a really slow and low release?
Anyhow, as I posted "if he works at it".
I agree. His jump shot release is slow, but there is the opportunity to improve that. He has shown that he can be accurate, if he can get his shot off, but this was his first year playing against Big Ten competition, so it's not that surprising there were growing pains. Unfortunately, it seems like he lost confidence in his shot as conference play was getting started, and then CCC benched him in favor of Clayton and others.I don't have a problem with Green. Shurna had that funny kink to his shot. His results were glorious though. Maybe because he was six ft 8 it never seemed to get blockedDefinitely low but nowhere near as slow as Green's
This latest development is obviously your fault!I think he’s genuinely awful and unathletic, but we have so many empty spots on the roster that… yolo. One less spot to fill cheaply, whatever. Can always run him off next year.
Perhaps seeing what competition CCC was bringing in through the portal to determine how much playing time he would be looking at next year? Or taking a pulse of what interest there is from other teams in him?Wonder why he waited so long? That was weird.
