Agreed. With the Jalen Cox looking to visit news, I wonder if they lock down Diallo this weekend with about 3M then shortly thereafter lock down Cox as 6th man backup PG for close to 2M.
They’re big enough to share the court some but the idea of good size, scoring but also high assist PGs, but neither shoots many 3s guys. Feels like you could run the same style offense regardless of who is on the court between the 2. Whereas Lowe and say Aberdeen this year were very different stylistically.
I hope that’s the plan. Would be a nice jump start to the back court.

If he wants the Jelavic role, I’m all for it. If he wants more, I’m out. Numbers took a hit at Iowa and I really like their coach who chose not to start him for whatever reason.

wright is going to a school that pays him the most. he is the best PG in the portal but there is potential for a bidding war. i think if chandler was locked in as your SG1 the staff was fine with it. but now you need to go out and get a starting 2 guard. shifting to diallo i bet you save money. enough to get a high quality backup point guard and slide cash to get a SG1. plus the potential it has a positive impact at getting stokes.
I like what I read about the Blyden kid from Toledo. Wonder what kind of interest he has in us.

If you had Stokes, the kid from VT, and a really good PG, you could easily push the ball from at least three different positions.
Shelsted has a visit lined up with UL and UL has predictions that they land the Oregon PG.
I say we end up with 3 (maybe 4) of the top 10. Wright (it's a done deal), Maurauskas, Vakks.
Seems Cox would be great off the bench as he could spell both guard positions and get starter type minutes.

He could help with Stokes but he isn't coming here to be a back up. Its going to be him or Wright. I prefer Wright but there are pros to landing Zoom. Considerably cheaper and a bigger/stronger guy. We are in good hands with either one.

Not going to lie. If I was a college player and not a huge UK fan I would be going to a school like Miami or florida just for the weather and vibe.
Diallo to UK means no Wright. Could Diallo and Wright start in the backcourt together, sure. Is that likely, no. Is Diallo a backup. No.
