Agreed. Wright or Zoom would be a great first domino. And I know we are ready for our first commitment.I hope we lock a PG down by the end of the weekend tho(zoom/wright) don’t want that to get dragged out for too long.

Agreed. With the Jalen Cox looking to visit news, I wonder if they lock down Diallo this weekend with about 3M then shortly thereafter lock down Cox as 6th man backup PG for close to 2M.I hope we lock a PG down by the end of the weekend tho(zoom/wright) don’t want that to get dragged out for too long.
I hope that’s the plan. Would be a nice jump start to the back court.Agreed. With the Jalen Cox looking to visit news, I wonder if they lock down Diallo this weekend with about 3M then shortly thereafter lock down Cox as 6th man backup PG for close to 2M.
They’re big enough to share the court some but the idea of good size, scoring but also high assist PGs, but neither shoots many 3s guys. Feels like you could run the same style offense regardless of who is on the court between the 2. Whereas Lowe and say Aberdeen this year were very different stylistically.
Would be great to start my Friday night off with a commitment from that kid!We know Zoom is visiting some time today(presumably later in the day after traveling from Seattle?)
Wonder if we hear about Pope visiting anybody in person this morning/early afternoon like we’re seeing with some of these coaches.
wright is going to a school that pays him the most. he is the best PG in the portal but there is potential for a bidding war. i think if chandler was locked in as your SG1 the staff was fine with it. but now you need to go out and get a starting 2 guard. shifting to diallo i bet you save money. enough to get a high quality backup point guard and slide cash to get a SG1. plus the potential it has a positive impact at getting stokes.I hope that’s the plan. Would be a nice jump start to the back court.
If you had Stokes, the kid from VT, and a really good PG, you could easily push the ball from at least three different positions.Yes!!! And run the offense through Stokes! He would be the man and be a match up nightmare with his size, strength, skill, playmaking ability and passing.
I say we end up with 3 (maybe 4) of the top 10. Wright (it's a done deal), Maurauskas, Vakks.Shelsted has a visit lined up with UL and UL has predictions that they land the Oregon PG.
Relax! We'll end up with the #1 class and then "it's on!"Im very surprised we haven't gotten any transfers yet. Seems like we are taking at least 6 maybe as many as 8 if we dont get any surprise freshman additions.
Seems Cox would be great off the bench as he could spell both guard positions and get starter type minutes.
He could help with Stokes but he isn't coming here to be a back up. Its going to be him or Wright. I prefer Wright but there are pros to landing Zoom. Considerably cheaper and a bigger/stronger guy. We are in good hands with either one.Good bench piece and back up to Wright. Probably means Stokes is ours to lose since they played HS together.
Wouldn't that be ideal?Invite Stokes to join him on the visit.

Vaaks would be a great add especially witn Chandler leaving. This kis is better all around than Chandler, but haven’t heard much about him lately which I'd disappointingI say we end up with 3 (maybe 4) of the top 10. Wright (it's a done deal), Maurauskas, Vakks.
You sure seem confident.Relax! We'll end up with the #1 class and then "it's on!"
Agree, need too many other piecesSome of you guys would have Steph Curry backing up Rob Wright. Dude is 5'10 in socks and just led his team with the #1 pick to getting smacked in the second round by Texas.
Good player, but do not think we should be breaking the bank for him.
Not going to lie. If I was a college player and not a huge UK fan I would be going to a school like Miami or florida just for the weather and vibe. The ON3 portal ranking has Somto from Georgia forecasted to Miami.
Diallo to UK means no Wright. Could Diallo and Wright start in the backcourt together, sure. Is that likely, no. Is Diallo a backup. No.Some of you guys would have Steph Curry backing up Rob Wright. I’d like a Zoom/Hill backcourtDiallo to UK means no Wright. Could Diallo and Wright start in the backcourt together, sure. Is that likely, no. Is Diallo a backup. No.
A bigger Otega Oweh. He's a monster but would be an odd fit with Diallo, imo.If this guy entered the portal would you take him as a soph over Stokes?

Totally agree. Would be a good strategy. That Toledo kid is interesting. Instead of the Wright price tag could you get him, Zoom, and the VCU guy?
Get Stokes or Freeman and you're in business.
Why I'm irrationally getting my hopes up again for this staff should be studied by psychologist.
