Thank you Kirk and Tim, for investing in the pass by getting great players like Tony! It really shows that they're committed to making a change and improving that aspect of the offense. That's my coach!

A change? Kirk's always had the same investment in the pass. 50/50 balance, right?Thank you Kirk and Tim, for investing in the pass by getting great players like Tony! It really shows that they're committed to making a change and improving that aspect of the offense. That's my coach!

Then we had the Sam Brownlee years.**"Except, of course, between the years of our lord 2017 and 2023."
You simply HAVE to be able to throw the ball. I can think of multiple games Iowa lost because of a lack of a passing attack.Thank you Kirk and Tim, for investing in the pass by getting great players like Tony! Complete mischaracterization.**"Except, of course, between the years of our lord 2017 and 2023."
Even a broke clock is right twice a day.So Coach Bud is gonna seem like a friggin wizard this season.
Quick and a great route runner.
I hope Helinski is the answer to that as Brown seems to be the better runner but no so much as a passer. You simply HAVE to be able to throw the ball. I can think of multiple games Iowa lost because of a lack of a passing attack.
I’m not saying Iowa should run an air raid offense, or even throw the majority of the plays. A good mix of passes (including a few downfield) to keep the defense off balance, along with a strong running game.

Here, let me help you guys out, since I know many of you are allergic to the truth.Funny how no one has any thoughts about that![]()
Love seeing Kirk support WRs catching passes first, and doing everything else second. Really shows his commitment to the pass. Thank you, Coach!
Sam was a hero who lived the dream. Then we had the Sam Brownlee years.
It's not my qoute.
Well could've been worse glad not knee/ankle, etc.Clavicle fracture
should be fine by fall.
A change? Kirk's always had the same investment in the pass. 50/50 balance, right?
Great players? Tony may be. But how many snaps have you seen him play?
Stop with the fan stuff
Well at least this happened in spring vs. RVZ the week before game 1. Heal up and be ready for summer 7v7 and fall camp!last year rvz, this year diaz
does workhorse ragaini have any tips to offer the new crop on how to play 6 years without missing a snap?![]()
**** why they bring guns to practice? WTF KirkDodged a bullet. Know what we got there, so shut him down & study the playbook.
I mean it’s not great news, he’s going to miss all of Summer camp now. Knowing how Kirk operates, he’s not getting on the field right away either.Dodged a bullet. Know what we got there, so shut him down & study the playbook.
I had thought Hecklinski was the more mobile of the 2, am I incorrect? Haven't seen Hank enough but he didn't look like a dual threat type when he was out there.I hope Helinski is the answer to that as Brown seems to be the better runner but no so much as a passer.
Oh for sure. Justb don't give Coach Bud any credit. Not allowed here!Even a broke clock is right twice a day.
So is it a collarbone or high ankle sprain, other? I've read both.Well at least this happened in spring vs. RVZ the week before game 1. Heal up and be ready for summer 7v7 and fall camp!
What should I give him credit for? Tony Diaz was a sought after transfer, and add to that hes yet to play in a game for Iowa. When Bud has a WR that can get to 800 yards in a season, I'll give him some props.Oh for sure. Justb don't give Coach Bud any credit. Not allowed here!
You will be waiting a long time for that to happen under bud. He would not be capable of coaching jerry rice type wr. Be gone bud. What should I give him credit for?
