It’s almost like you can predict (do math) the seasonality if you like money, pay attention, and don’t get duped by stupid headlines

This is false. Tesla is a leading brand in the China EV space.

You said leading EV brand in China. Tesla is 4% of the market and falling. Now who is falling for stupid headlines?

Now do how many brands have more than 4% of the market. And then you will realize my statement was correct.

BYD leads with 26% market share. What’s your point?
There are about 20 Electric Vehicle brands in China. Tesla is in the top 3-4, while commanding higher prices. It's viewed as somewhat of a luxury brand out of the 20 EV brands.

So, as i said "a leading EV brand", top 3 or 4 out of 20 ..... i would consider a leading brand. If you want to split hairs over what constitutes "leading" go right ahead.

Tesla is doing just fine. Remember, this is post subsidy so some fall off in demand is not surprising. Im sure some of Elons politics hurt too, but in the end Tesla will be just fine.

Stock is still too expensive, I sold all mine. But the cars are great and they still drive better than gas cars so i still think the overall trend will be slowly towards EV. They just drive better, it's that simple.

And not to mention, that Tesla is the worlds leading EV seller and sells more vehicles on the global stage than BYD

It’s a fair downgrade.

The stock just trades at sky high valuations. The Elon premium is real and valuable. If Elon died tomorrow Tesla immediately drops 50%.

Now SpaceX provides another vehicle to get access to Elon. So it makes sense to me why the valuation collapses and also why I don’t own any Tsla stock right now despite jt being one of my favorite products and companies.

Tsla valuation is insane.

The car business is doing ok, not great. Battery deployment was a little soft last quarter too.

And Elon knows that a SpaceX IPO will be a drain on TSLA. So, he has rabbits in his hat.

He is staging Robotaxi Model Y’s around the country. In order to counter the SpaceX IPO I think he will launch new products at Tesla. He will also launch Robotaxi in 10-15 cities all at once (hence the “slow at first and then all at once” posts), the same time as the SpaceX IPO and the same time as the CyberCab is made available to order online.

June is going to have some serious fireworks. I have no idea where the stock is going but it’s going to move somewhere.

Haven’t deliveries declined for two straight years? FSD now performing worse. Robotaxi in Austin has been an epic failure.

If it wasn’t for his fanboys, this thing would drop another 80%.

And space x seems like ticking time bomb. 90% of its value was generated in the last year or something to that nature?

He’s an amazing salesman for sure.

And just like that, rumors of a new Tesla model are coming out today. Not bad for a FatPig

This is wild

I saw a video of a Chinese SUV galaxy mp9, if I recall, that was really a nice looking well equipped car..the advert said $25,000, which seemed low to me. But even at a minimally higher price would outpace similar ones here that sell for twice that much.

cars and homes are too damn expensive. my 6 year old tacoma's resell value is the same as the brand new price I negotiated right before covid.

Inflation is much higher than what the government tells us. That is not a partisan statement, both parties keep up the charade.

The design and production of the China SU7 EV is what seems most impressive.

That is not the car for me either. Not sure where the dog would ride.
