Alright Lee Anne we appreciate you posting a deflection post daily of your husband, at minimum, though we need go over some inflection points:
- MP received a job he was severely under qualified for.
- He’s grossly overpaid for a rather poor performance up to this point.
- In the first time in decades, we failed to secure a top 50 HS recruit, let alone top 10-20.
- BYU is doing better in his absence, speaks volumes in of itself.
- He lacks credibility in the basketball world, coaches use his weaknesses against him in recruiting.
- Not known for developing a single big name player, not once in nearly 20 years, not a single top 15 NBA pick nor a collegiate all-american.
- All of the assistants are being fired, even a few good ones to obscure and obfuscate his own weaknesses and failures.
- He doesn’t understand the current college basketball landscape, made horrible decisions last season, he was desperate and brought in players that were essentially hired mercenaries.
- His teams lack identity, it’s basically whoever he can get, you look at the teams in this year’s FF, they have a system each adhere to and they recruit the players that fit that mold, not even all elite players, though each is an integral component, MP lacks the ability to do that.
- He‘s a career underachiever, winning at 63% against oftentimes inferior opponents.
- Biggest offense, he fails as a leader in developing young men, he‘s too passive and weak, that parlayed itself in the teams demise throughout the year, as Iowa State said, they knew they would collapse under pressure, and they did…
