Wrote a letter urging Eli to reverse the decision on Barnhart’s retirement gig.

The decision should be reversed. If Mitch Barnhart is unwilling to continue as Athletic Director, the University should settle the contract and allow him to move on without leaving a lingering shadow of criticism and cronyism over an institution that so many care deeply about.

If Mitch is done being the AD, then he needs to move on and relinquish full control to his successor. We don't need Mitch hanging around and screwing things up by playing the role of shadow AD. The guy has already been allowed to screw up too many things in his time here. Just cut him loose and let him go on his way. We need entirely new blood in charge of this athletic department.

Is it really necessary to put everything on KSR over here on this forum??? I mean people read both anyway.
I actually don't read both. For me, it was informative. I dismiss a lot of stuff on this board because of the source. Random posters very often give blatantly uninformed opinions and distort facts to push a narrative. However, in this case, we have a big money booster raising some serious concerns. I am glad it was posted.

They need to make damn sure MB is gone, and can't continue this Bulls.hit with his buddy taking over. Surely UK doesn't want to hear this s.hit for another year or three, four.

Many don't read that site anymore cause it's damn near impossible with all the bs ad. This will be the only way something could possibly be done to stop the highway robbery barnhart is trying to pull with this made up job. More boosters need to speak up

We shouldn’t let it disappear, in fact we should bring up the Swim team every chance we get. He should be held accountable for that!
This. It's WAAAAY past time for this fan base and boosters to revolt.

Sticking us with those AWFUL contracts for Stoops and Cal. Now sticking us with an AWFUL JMI contract.
The Swim Team Debacle.
The Joker Phillips crap
The BCG crap
Antagonizing media and fans over JMI or getting rid of Stoops
Catering only to the wealthy fans
The list goes on and on and on...

My thoughts exactly. Let’s find the right person who has their finger on the pulse of this NIL and will allow athletes to market themselves any damn way they want. Uncle Barney can go phuck off somewhere.

Eli should be canned as well
He’s enabled a lot of the nonsense that’s gone on in athletics. From Mitch’s dumb hires, terrible contracts to Stoops, Cal and yes, Pope (extension for a S16 🤮), scandals, coverups, JMI 25 year deal, talking down to fans, alienating the average fan, game day atmospheres like the Opera House, no alcohol until recently, taking away the tailgating areas, etc. Enough is enough.
