There weren’t that many Kentucky fans at the game today. Mark Pope is killing our love of the program. Get him out before he does irreparable damage!
I didn’t watch a single second of the game. I checked the box score twice and that’s it. I knew they were going to lose and likely get blown out from the start. There’s just no reason to watch this program most games and sure as hell no reason to go to a game. They’re turning into UK football.

I feel your pain, old friend. God help the program with a president and Athletics director and head basketball coach like they have right now.

how did this siutation even happen ? It's been 2 years now.

I would say ENOUGH.

but what do we know, eh ?

bigtime must see TV as to what heppens in the offseason this time around ..... at least we have that drama ....

Its not mark pope as much, as it was our AD.... He let Cal flounder to long. Made two of the worst contract ever.... And then hired the wrong coach as a replacement... People's intrest in the basketball team has dwindled alot since covid.. And NIL and Transfer Portal just makes it even that much harder to give a dam....last 5 years I have turned off.. And walked away from. More game that the 20 years combined before that. I just don't care that much anymore... Hell.... I look forward to foot ball more than basketball...

Have faith, fam! Mark's got some super groovy new story lines and gimmicks to sell us on this summer. He's thinking of adding a "Jump the Shark" element to Big Blue Madness!

I think the fans still care. However, a good portion of them, myself included, realized the outcome was a foregone conclusion and there was no need to put ourselves through such misery. I just want my team to have a realistic chance to win come tournament time, it's been too long since we've felt that.

Son of saul has just turned into cat fight. Someone who just post memes. Most people aren't representative of real fans on this board. Rival fans, cal fans, and people who hate their life.

Awful fans are awful for recruiting. Yeah pope recruited wrong kids this year on top of injuries. Fans stopped traveling because of cal losing in the tourney since 20. If we end up with nobody part on awful fans and part on pope.

Most people are just venting but some are pathetic. They want dusty may after not wanting him initially. Pope is gonna be here and y'all can not go to games but most of you stay home anyway and be couch coach.

Fans still care, but they are tired of watching garbage and know garbage when they see it.

I’ve been watching UK since 1990-91. Outside of that team—which was the last year of probation—the only tournament teams I felt had 0% chance of making a run were 2000, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2023 and this year. That’s what stinks the most about the state of the program. I’m logical, I know how hard it is to win a title. But to not even have a chance at Kentucky? That’s a sad experience.

Sorry, the best I can do is Pope for a third year. I cannot wait to listen his pressers using such big words and adorning sweet nothings to his players.

The outcome was too predictable, bad team, bad coaching, save money, watch the blowout at home.

Illinois outnumbered us last year too. Which happens sometimes. But yeah fans are checking out on Pope in droves.
I think the Illinois game last year had more to do with the game being 1 1/2 hours away from a bunch of their fans. This year, apathy and pissed offness had definitely set in.
