Excuses. That’s all you have.
I'm not on the team. I don't need excuses.

See above. LSU doesn’t have to beat TAMUI may be wrong, but I think anything from 4th to 10th is still possible, some much more unlikely than others.
I think for 4th to happen, of course we have to beat Florida, Vandy has to beat UT, Ark beat Missouri, LSU beat TAMU (so for all that to happen is <5% chance, .3*.6*.5*.3=2.7%).
We can't beat Bama with a week to prepare. Ain't gonna happen off of a back to back. Not a bad draw. We've beat those two already and due against Bama.
Lol. According to Pope our guys are fatigued playing a Saturday to Tuesday turnaround, so how we expect them to play 3-4 in a row?Might want to play on Wednesday. Pile up a few wins on the bottom feeders getting warmed up for the better teams.
Isn't Cal currently 3rd in the current SEC though? For a lot of those Cal years, the SEC wasn't nearly what it is now.
As far as the NIL stuff, we don't know what the other schools spent. We don't even know if what was reported that we spent is entirely accurate.
Having a high payroll in sports certainly helps, but it doesn't garanttee anything. Ask the New York Yankees in the last decade or so lol.
That doesn’t fit his narrative.Isn't Cal currently 3rd in the current SEC though?
I miss the days when we were the #1 seed in the SEC tourney and would win pretty much every season.
This Pope era stuff sucks.
He’s winning the Lots-o-Money-In-Bank-Account Award. And isn’t what really matters? We gave generational wealth to so many young underprivileged kids under Cal, why not give some to an awkward Mormon coach from Utah? He deserves it.Pope doesn't seem to want to win anything that matters here.

Times have changed tho. Even if we do hire a better coach and get back to UK basketball, the playing field will have been leveled a bit.
Texas is getting run by Ark so we're likely at worst a #8. I expect the draw to break our way
