If she doesn't feel the love she is gonna hit the portal, she can get some significant coin on the open market.
No she wouldn't. Her future might end up being great but she hasn't shown anyone that she should command a lot of value today. Again, this isn't football or men's basketball. You don't see a bunch of women pulling down 6 figure deals. Certainly not players like Addie.

I joined the forum as I lover the Hawkeyes ladies program, and now the men with Ben, and also because I really like to know what’s going on with recruiting. I’ve enjoyed a lot of the postings but I’m amazed at how many apparently negative and unhappy people “support” the program. We had a good win today and we see more complaining than we do positives. We had a great first half and for real basketball followers it was pretty certain Nebraska would make a run. Basketball is a game of runs. They did and “over her head” Jan made the move of the game calling a time out that drastically changed the momentum back in the Hawkeyes favor. My belief is in celebrating, not trashing coaches and players after the fact. I always remind my self “basketball is not a game of perfect”. I love our team, warts and all.

Many fans live game to game vs the season as a whole. Also many don’t have the patience to let young players develop and seem to want to write off their future during their freshman season. Some adapt quickly, Some don’t, Way too early to write off Addie and Layla IMO.

This constant banging on Layla and Addie is irratating. We look great beating NB on the road and we have posters bitching about freshmen experiencing predictable growing pains adjusting to the upper level of D1 basketball.

Give them time for God's sake.

You aren’t going to find a proven center that wants to sit behind a potential All-American and play 10 minutes a game.
All I'm saying is Hays has a VERY long ways to go.

Not as big as deal if Ava stays out of foul trouble, but it's been an issue and next year there is no one like HS and help with the "5".

It makes sense that these losers would continually rag on the young players. These are guys that refuse to grow up, self evaluate and make positive changes. No wonder they don't understand how these young athletes will improve.

Game threads are consistently populated with hyper-critical overreactions and idiotic posters like Anon978 is the reason I usually stay away from them.

I was only half paying attention to what the announcers were saying. I believe it was in the third quarter they started talking about someone that was injured and would be going for a medical redshirt as nothing is more important than to get healthy. I did not catch who they were talking about or even which team they were referencing. Were they talking about Emely or someone else and if I misheard them does anyone remember what they actually said?

I think they were talking about a player on another team.

You are absolutely correct, even good posters on here get negative funks from time to time, but some posters here are just “ I know it alls” or social media addicts who can’t identify with being happy!

Wolizco says hi. Number 6th ranked player in the country coming in. She'll make everyone forget about Hannah, unfortunately.

I don’t know about making everyone forget about Hannah but I do think she can duplicate how Iowa uses Hannah at the 5 at times, Because of need she has played a lot of 5 in high school, She has also been used at times at the 5 on National teams. It won’t be a foreign concept to her.

Houston has been the most consistent of the freshmen. Deal had several 20 point games and is a strong passer, a lot of potential. Haues needs to work on her footwork and quickness. I see all three making a lot of improvement down the stretch and into next year.

Just look at Heiden and Stremlow, huge improvement.

So did Monica, as well as Holmes at Indiana when they were freshmen. She prepped in Alaska with limited competition. Let her play another couple of years dude.

I have coached for a lot of years and could have been way more successful if I would have had this skill 😳
