Yes, there has been some speculation that his name surfaced in connection to the gambling ring sting that got ex-RU wrestlers Cetta and Raimo charged. No idea if that was true, but makes sense that they may have pulled him from competition until he got his name cleared. Raimo and Olivieri both went to Hanover Park for what it's worth.

Again, no idea if this is true and even if so, he obviously got cleared. Heard it on a podcast or two.

No, I heard it on BEG (definitely remember that) and one other podcast (can't remember which) in passing.

And there was like 50 tons of salt in my original post. Obviously, if that was the case he was cleared and there was no wrongdoing.
