Ben prioritizes defense over everything, so I assume Jirak still has a ways to go in that respect. He's in now because we're getting dominated on the boards and we're desperate for some size.

College refs suck, that has always been the case. It's not just some grand conspiracy against Iowa basketball. Jirak also got two free throws after getting stuffed by the 7'4" guy. It goes both ways.

This team is about as expected for a high level drake team playing in a tougher conference. But also Purdue may be the dumbest team I've seen. You have multiple 7ish footers. Feed them
