Maybe, but from what I've seen UConn do this year and what I've seen other Top 5-10 teams do so far I don't think anyone is staying within single digits of them.

For the second straight game. Jan made a mistake by starting Deal these last 2 games and now she's kind of stuck. It was easier to manage her minutes when she was coming off of the bench. Not so easy now, and I don’t see her reverting back, so hopefully Addie starts performing better when she gets back to Carver. It's unfortunate because Stremlow is simply a better overall player today and she has the mental toughness that this team needs right now. Kylie has been terrible as well since coming back from injury.
Why Jan insists on playing Kylie so much is beyond me. I honestly wonder wtf she is trying to do a lot of the time. Everyone talks about how great her defense is and it's not even all that impressive. It's amazing how bad she can be with the ball in her hands. Imo she is causing more harm than good
The offense just stalls every time she touches it, it's driving me crazy. She's a 3 & D type player. She should be there to swing the ball and hit 3's if they're open, whenever she starts dribbling it's a problem.
The competition got a lot tougher and she is not ready for that YET.
I agree and as I have said many times it will be fun to have McKenna. We should be able to run a 4 out offense with movement and opportunities for Addie, McKenna, and Chit to penetrate. Unfortunately with our personnel being post heavy with two posts being our best players we need something like the triangle. It certainly creates a lot of standing around. Not beautiful basketball.
I agree that Taylor has played better on this road trip but I believe Addie has the higher ceiling. I think Taylor‘s role will be a super 6th “man”. There’s great value in that position.
Maybe time to start Houston in Kylie's stead. I just think JH brings a lot more to the table.
Random thought - why does Lauren Betts get 12 fouls a game when everyone else gets 5?
