I think most of us figured a beatdown was coming today. It's still disappointing.
The defense was at least decent for most of the first half. I'm not sure what happened here in the second half.

Just have UConn and UCLA play a best of 7 series and cancel the rest of the women's season.
Why not tell chit chat to shoot 20 times a game rather than have 15 unforced turnovers every game trying something else?
I think the point is how far Iowa is from competing with the best teams and how JJs style and coaching and recruiting might make it difficult to get there. Just not nearly enough athleticism or perimeter/skill firepower.

Because we'd be complaining if Jan left in Deal to do nothing, but mainly because we need guards to sub in and we are low on guards.
Bluder got lucky with Clark, Jensen will not be that lucky.
This offense has no chance against the top 6-7 teams or so. Way too much standing around and trying to pound the ball inside. UCLA and USC have way too much length to run this offense. They can play with anyone outside those top 6-7 teams with this offense though, because they are all at about the same skill level.
she has not hit a shot in nearly two years, not to mention her defense is lacking, so mystery to me
Let's be entirely fair, barring CC no Iowa team in the last 30 years has been competing with the best teams.
It would have been better for Deal and other underclassmen if she would not have come back.
